I seriously have no idea why this place has such poor reviews, but you shouldn't listen to any of those. This is HANDS DOWN the best teriyaki in Pullman, and it beats most places I tried in Portland when I lived there. No need to order extra teriyaki sauce, either. My husband got the butter garlic shrimp and said it was also fantastic. The gyoza is also good. Very quick service, great prices, and HUGE portions, too. What are you waiting for? Go eat here!
First time coming here. I’ve seen people come in once in a while so I decided to try it out. Ordered 2 pho bowls and a side of potstickers. I thought it was a bit odd that you had to pay first, but I didn’t mind that. I also thought that it was weird that the utensils and water was self serve. As an Asian person I have never been so disappointed and disgusted. I’ve been to a lot of Asian restaurants. It’s my first time I’ve ever seen pho with such a dark color. The chicken was dry and tasted it like it was freezer burned. I thought the beef would be at least be decent but I left most of it untouched due to the gritty texture and poor taste. You could practically taste the MSG with each bite. It also bothered me that it wasn’t even seasoned, not a hint of pepper what so ever. The only thing that was decent was the potstickers and that’s only because they were pre-made. I decided to leave early and later my body purged whatever remnants that were left that it could get rid of. I love and support local businesses, but this is one place I would honestly not recommend. If you want some better tasting food that gives your bang for your buck I recommend Phikun’s Thai Restaurant.
Excellent food and prices, and nice customer service, definitely one of my favorites restaurants
Love this place! I had the vegetable pho, which was an absolutely ginormous bowl for just over 10 bucks! The food was tasty and great quality. The staff was also very friendly. My favorite part about it is the setting; it's a really comfortable and welcoming building with nice decor and presentation. I will definitely be coming again as soon as the quarantine is over!!
The food was descent, the Pho was not as I expected but the customer service was good.
Disappointing. I understand that businesses are struggling these days, and I dont make reviews this low without a lot of thought beforehand. My order of seafood pho was incorrectly fixed as an order of bibimbap. The staff member clearly didnt want to refund me, so I said it was ok, I'd keep it and also order the seafood pho which id ordered there many times in the past and remembered as being delicious! It has been years, however. What I received was a small portion that included tiny, overcooked shrimp, noodles so soft they broke apart as I tried to eat them, almost no bean sprouts, and no basil leaves. In defense of the dish, it was shrimp pho and not seafood, I should've paid closer attention, as I've never received a seafood pho with only shrimp and no other seafare included. I was hoping for a fond trip down memory lane with this order. Instead, I will be going back to my staple restaurant for pho orders, unfortunately. Not enjoyable at all, I'm sorry.
The only thing I've eaten here is the vegetable and beef Pho & the Spicy Ramen soups. Both are really very good and I've returned to get them again and again. I have no doubt that the other menu items, and there are many, are equally good. Very popular place with students from the University. This is not an upscale place. It's hot, good, and fast. Reliable chow to fill the void.
I seriously considered reporting this place after I was up all night with one of the worst cases of food poisoning I've ever had. I was just passing through so it wasn't worth it to me. I'm pretty sure the meat they served me was ancient, and I shouldn't have eaten it. Odd tasting pho, 2/10 food, 1/10 after I felt like I was dying later that day.
Efficient and friendly service, but cashier was not wearing a mask. Bulgogi and fried rice were really good. If I lived in area I'd probably eat here regularly.
American style teriyaki and decent pho at affordable prices. One of my local go-to's for take out when I'm too lazy to cook and hungry now, cause they're also quick. Not much for a sit down experience. It's in an old Taco Time, and it shows. The food however, is tasty and consistent.
