O'Callahan Kelly J MD

I am a patient AND a referring physician. Kelly O'Callahan is one of the only GI specialists that i know in this area that actually listens to patients and doesn't want to just scope you and then say "you have IBS" and then not help. she will keep working with her patients to find things that work to try to control symptoms that interfere with quality of life. Believe me, I asked the GI fellows at UMass about who else around to send people to, and was told she is the best. she is empathetic, knowledgeable, experienced, and takes the time to work with her patients. I don't send my patients to anyone else!!

I've been seeing Dr. O'Callahan for a year now I believe I'm at 4 or 5 visits, with a number of calls in between, and she and her office have been wonderful to deal with the entire time. Dr. O'Callahan is personable, knowledgeable, and is open to new ideas and input from the patient to make sure the treatment plan chosen is working to the best of its ability. The office staff members are all friendly, responsive, and very helpful. I am grateful to have found Dr. O'Callahan and this office in Worcester.

Very disappointed. I was referred by my PCP in early December to Dr. O'Callahan's office for bad upper abdominal pain and nausea and have not heard back from her office and here it is right at the middle of January. Sad because I never thought a UMASS doctor would literally just drop a patient without so much as a call if even to say "sorry we are not accepting new patients at th is time". Needless to say I have to start over now and find yet another gastro doctor. Sad to believe we have all become just a number!

Had a colonoscopy today Friday, August 12th and she was awesome!!! Very friendly and caring!

Upon my first visit to this Dr.'s office. Staffing was so happy and pleasant! When I met with the Dr.,she was very helpful and informative. She listened to everything I explained,and answered all my questions pertaining to the question, I presented. I'm so glad I went there..

Worst Doctor ever!!! Cant come up with personal patient regimens. Compares patients to each other. Does not properly diagnose patient even when facts are there. Scary, will leave you sick to prove herself wrong. Take your health serious dont go to her!!!!!!!!

worst doctor ever I'm in severe pain an her office won't even help me they told me to deal with the pain til next tuesday when she's in the office its like they don't care about there patients they yelled on the phone an disrespected me an was like she not going to call you from an unblocked number ill have the other doctor call you an I'm not sure he can help its like they really don't care an to tell someone to go to the er its like they won't help they referee you back to them always so thanks deff won't reccomend anyone for there gi doctors stay away!!

Dr. O'Callahan is highly professional, caring, compassionate, and an excellent doctor. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
