I have rarely felt more like a chunk of meat. First, they chastised me for being 5 minutes late. Really? Then my appointment only lasted 10 minutes...as if they really needed to chastise me. Distant and unconcerned with me as a person, I'm very hesitant to allow them to try and address my problems...as 4 months later I feel worse, not better. Also, perhaps if you're trying to appear an institution of modern medical science, perhaps you should leave the Jesus-fish decor off of your paperwork. Kinda belies any sense of impartial expertise you might be trying to convey. Don't you think. Also, does this mean that you only serve Christians? Muslims, Jews, and atheists need not apply? Because of this I don't feel like they're going to offer me care equal to that they provide their obviously preferred type of customer. Makes me feel slighted, perhaps even a taste of bigotry. Finally, I tried to make an appointment recently because I was suffering from some extreme symptoms. I was informed that the middle of January would be my very first opportunity to see a doctor. Despite some protest, this was my only option...she said. After this review was published, I received a phone call. I'm being seen tomorrow. So either the receptionist I spoke with was ignorant, incompetent, or dishonest...or some combination there-of. No matter how you cut it, this makes Nystrom look very bad. After all, where is a person in a time of dire need supposed to turn, if their psychiatrist rejects them?

I am not going back to this location, maybe even to the company. Today I drove 2 hours from my home out of state for my appointment. I knew it would be a pointless one because they have never done anything other than say "everything okay? Great! See you in 3 months". My longest appointment ever was 20 minutes. Back to this morning, I had unpredictable situations that caused me to be 7 minutes late. That being said, I still had an allotted 50 minutes left of my appointment. Plenty of time. My provider REFUSED TO SEE ME. How's that for someone helping with mental health! The reception even had the gall to say "we have a policy...". Like life never happens and they're never late for anything. I have never been told of this policy, and it is not mentioned in any appointment reminders. Patients are treated like $500, not a person. After I drove all the way in from out of state. I am absolutely livid with how patients are treated and will NOT be paying for the nonexistent appointment, or returning. Don't waste your time or money on a place that doesn't care about you.

I rated a 4 cuz im a firm believer, there's always room for improvement. But when i left after my first time there. I actually felt hopeful about my life again. It's been a while since I felt like that, lets hope it stays.

I have seen my provider Ann Kooiker for years and wouldn't have been able to reach and exceed my mental health goals without her. Thank you Nystroms

The office manager is extremely helpful and has gone out of her way to help us. I would recommend this clinic to everyone.
