Nougat Bakery

Pretty and yummy desserts and Nice staffs! Their pastries look so nice and yummy and they have many selections. They even serve coffee and tea! We tried their Mango Raspberry Tart, it is so delicious and so fruity. It is more on the sour side but it's so sweet! It is just right! The staff is so nice and responsive, but we were waiting in line for quite a while but it is worth the wait!

Tried this place for does time after passing by many times! Had a few bad cake experiences before in the area, but the cakes we had were really delicious! Not too sweet, very tasty! Will go back to try their other cakes too.

The place is very nice with lots of variety to choose. I felt the price was bit high and the taste was okay. There is lots of collection of hot chocolate drink and cookies too.

A heavenly, delectable shop for those with a weakness for enticing, sweet treats! Nougat also carries a wide array of European candies, pasta sauces, syrups, jams, juices and sparkling waters. Breads, rolls and an assortment of danishes and strudel make this a must in Uptown Waterloo!

Was decently delicious, had higher expectations because they looked so tasty. A little on the expensive side, so I assumed they'd be tastier. Cannoli was very well put together and did make my taste buds happy but it wasn't anything special. In the end I did enjoy the desserts just wishing they are as tasty as the

Nougat's location uptown Waterloo in the shops at waterloo Town Square makes it a great place to pop into when you are out shopping for other things, but I am sure also is reflected in high rent costs and thus higher than average prices. The service was really friendly and helpful. I ordered some jam jam cookies, a slice of chocolate roll cake and a slice of strawberry pineapple cake. The lady gave me two slices of the pineapple cake for the price of one which was wonderful but should have been a warning. The cake had obviously been sitting for a while and had dried out quite a bit. The flavour was overwhelmingly sweet without much to balance it and so after we split one piece neither of us wanted more. The roll cake was wonderfully chocolate and less cloyingly sweet but had obviously just come out of the freezer which affected the texture of the cake. The cookies were good but no better than I have had at other bakeries. The food wasn't bad, but there are so many other small bakeries in town that I have enjoyed more that were both cheaper and fresher. Edit: If I could I would bump this to a 3.5 because their no yeat sourdough bread was delicious and actually had a tang to it.

All kinds of baked goods with an European influence. We had several pastries and took a cake to a dinner, it was a suv success. The vanilla sponge was feast and it had to delicious fillings, raspberry and my favourite passion fruit. The store has a few small tables to enjoy your sweet with a coffee.

Best cake ever, texture of the cakes blends excellently with flavors. Not too sweet, just perfect, I tried cherry blossom, lemon and raspesberry etc they taste really really good. Staff super polite and nice, I 100% recommend this bakery

Lots of really beautiful cakes and pastries. Traffic is very light, so question how quickly they turnover their products on weekdays. Tried a couple slices and was okay.
