Not Justa Cafe

I've eaten here twice. The first time was absolutely wonderful, second time had a couple of issues. The bathrooms have been fine and clean. Food and service was great the first time, the second time we waited for over 10 minutes before being seated. Two groups of people ahead of us were also waiting and during the 10 minutes we waited no staff person greeted anyone from any of the three groups. I did see they were hiring for four positions...so apparently they are drastically understaffed? As for the food it was fine, but not to our tastes on the second visit, I ordered wings and it had some type of mayonnaise sauce coating and my companion ordered liver and onions which were under par for how they were prepared. To be fair on our first visit the service was timely, and the food was delicious and well priced. So I'd say it's hit or miss at this restaurant.

The place is clean and the staff is friendly. The food always arrives hot and made to order. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the coffee is mediocre and the service is inconsistent. One day i waited for a menu after i was seated for 10 minutes, another day i didn't wait at all. I've been to this restaurant approx 7 times

Good comfort food with sizable portions. Pancakes that are as big as the plate. Fresh cut fries. Typical Midwest hometown cafe.

Great atmosphere. Portions are large and prices are low. Servers are great. Always smiling and talkative. And with all the smart a$$ signs posted thru out will keep ya smiling. Will definitely return. Glad I found this lol gem..

Great food! This was a busy place due to a $2 hamburger special but once we were seated food was delivered quickly! Would recommend this restaurant.
