Northumberland County Forest, Carstairs Tract

Nice walk with my 2.5 year old. Trail scenic, peaceful and stroller friendly. Looking forward to visiting again.

Our go to place to forest walk. Very gentle, able to enjoy with leashed dogs and strollers, year round. Winter 2023 it's closed for maintenance but can't wait for the spring.

Beautiful. Peaceful. Wheelchair or stroller accessible. With information placards. Had a wonderful time hiking the trails.

Visited in October 2021. A different way of experiencing the fall colours. A short 2 km trail is stroller and wheelchair accessible that provided is a serene change of pace during a weekend day trip.

This is a 30 min walking trail, very popular with dog walkers. A mix of hard stone and dirt pathways. Wide enough for 2 ppl walk side by side. Decent signage throughout and twist and turns in the path. Suitable for strollers/wheelchairs/walkers.There are informative posts describing all the different trees/evergreens throughout the trail. This is one of the better parks for this area of Northumberland. If you wish a out & back trail, just cross the road and take the trail entrance there.

It's a great place to go for a one or two kilometer walk. The trail is flat and wide and very clean. It is wheelchair accessible for those who need that.

Flat and short, nice and casual, a bench every 5 minutes. Good for wheelchairs or beginners

Short trails, super peaceful... But I left with 10 bites so wear insect repellent! at least in the evening
