Northridge Homes

We are a retired couple and have always dreamed of a home in the country, but [at this stage in our lives] had to do it within a defined budget. We built a custom home during the summer of 2015. After interviewing several contractors we decided to proceed with Northridge Homes. It proved to be a wise choice. Northridge is a very customer oriented company that assisted us during the design process and provided detailed costing based on our specifications. We felt the level of detail provided would enable us to stay within budget...or...spend more [or less] on specific items at our discretion. Northridge promised the home would be completed in 5 months. Shovels in the ground late May meant we would be able to move in end of October. A time schedule we initially thought was very aggressive. However, Northridge provided assurances and references to back up this claim. Everything went to schedule and we moved in on the promised date. The trades that Northridge used were excellent. Pride of workmanship was evident and we found all trades to be polite and accommodating. Building a custom home requires significant involvement by the Owner. Hundreds of timely decisions involving anything from brick & siding to cabinets & door knobs. Expectations and responsibilities should be carefully reviewed with any contractor you may be considering. We encountered no significant issues and our home turned out beautifully. We are thrilled with the end result. In summary we would highly recommend Northridge Homes. They are an honest, reliable company that are determined to make building a new home a pleasant experience for all concerned.

We chose our builder, Northridge Homes, carefully and after considerable research. For each builder we considered, we viewed at least six homes from Cobble Beach near Owen Sound to Thornbury, to Orangeville and even Toronto. We checked references for each builder prior to making our decision to go with Northridge Homes. We loved working with Nikki of Prestige Design in Orangeville to come up with the plan and our dream home in Lora Bay, Thornbury, is now a reality. We are very pleased with the results! Northridge co-owners, Dave and Dal have always been responsive to us, and continue to follow-up to ensure our satisfaction. Their attention to detail is unlike anything we've come across with any other builder. Our guests have been very complimentary of the finish detail, especially in trim work and coffered ceilings. The cabinetry by Dave of Apple Creek Kitchens in Badjeros is gorgeous and extremely well built, from kitchen to laundry to closet. We would not hesitate to recommend Northridge Homes to anyone considering building a new home! Odette & Andrew Bartnicki

The lack of professionalism and on time project work leaves the home owner with nothing but stress and disappointment. Poor quality and unreliable trades, avoid this builder if you want to enjoy your home. All talk and no action!
