We stopped by on our way out of town and we were so glad we did! Had a free tasting from an enthusiastic bartender and stayed for cocktails. Nice place and really friendly people.

Not nearly as good as Grand Traverse Distillery or Mammoth distillery which are also in the area. The liquor tastings were subpar and the few cocktails we tried were not even close to as good as other local distilleries. This place has cheaper cocktails and 4 free liquor tastings though. I think the high ratings can mostly be attributed to the free tastings and the very popular horseradish vodka which is good for bloody marys. I'll admit that's not something I drink.

Great tasting room.  The Cherry Bounce is the best!  Highly recommend stopping there.

Great distillery.  The Horseradish Vodka is amazing.  Can't wait to go back.  Great cocktails at the bar and very friendly staff
