Avoid if you can. Updated 6/13 - so...my insurance called them Friday and they assured my insurance they would submit a physician referral no later than Monday. So here we are on Tuesday and they still haven't submitted a referral so they've basically lied to me and my insurance company. I went here because it's close to my house and accepted by my insurance. Receptionist/scheduler was fantastic. But...it went downhill badly from there. First off, it's sketchy and dingy with the entrance not on MLK like the address says but in back. I arrived on time to fill out paperwork but they made me wait in a freezing, no window closed door exam room for 45 min after my appointment time to see a nurse practitioner. Then they kept referring to the NP as "the doctor" which is not professional (and I'm pretty sure illegal only licensed MDs can be called Doctor). Finally, the whole reason I was there was to get an asap referral to a chiropractor for some wicked 6 weeks of back pain. At the end they say "it will takes 2-4 weeks to get the referral approved". I told them I'd call my insurance, this doesn't sound right and the turd NP goes "it won't do any good". Low & behold I call my insurance 2 hours later who tells me "we approve referrals within 48 hours, that Clinic gave you bad info". Then my ins calls them to get status of referral and the clinic hasn't submitted it saying it takes them up to 5 -7 days to submit it. Are you kidding me? It's 2017. Email, attach submitted form, hit send, it takes 2 minutes, morons. What's the point of seeking healthcare if they won't do their jobs? They are also really big on STD, alcohol and drug lectures and questions and telling you 200000x they don't prescribe painkillers even through you tell them 200000x you hate painkillers and don't want pain killers. I guess if it's a Clinic of last resort or if you need an STD test or methadone fix it might be ok. But if you just want quality, professional attention & care for back pain and some other regular health concerns, go elsewhere. The Phlebotomist was good though.

I have been going to this clinic off and on for over 20 years! Off and on means when I have OHP insurance or no insurance, I go here. I have always had a wonderful experience. The clinic is clean and the bathrooms are well kept. The clinic rooms are spatious and clean. The waiting room is large and the chairs are in a C shape which gives patients personal space. The pharmacy staff are fast, knowledable and friendly. The number light up board for waiting on your prescription is a great technique , works well in the pharmacy. The receptionist staff is knowledgable and friendly. The clinical staff and doctors are knowledable , kind, and make you feel important. Thank you!

This is literally the worst dental clinic I have ever been to. They treat their clients like cattle. They are rude, dehumanizing, and careless. They refuse to book appointments past 2 days out even if you have severe pain. They just tell you to keep calling back. They have unreliable staff where you show up for your appointment and have to be seen by someone other than your primary dentist yet even in an emergency they won't let you book with a dentist who isn't your primary. This is a clinic in a poor area and I get that they are busy but even poor people are entitled to adequately and timely healthcare. I have never been nor seen others treated so poorly. If you can avoid it, go anywhere else

Checked in at 205 pm I was Scheduled in at 230 and I wasn't in a room til 330. This was after asking 3 separate times, when The doctor would be ready, and being told ,"5 minutes" over and over! I asked how long the appointment would be (busy schedule) and they told me someone else was ahead of me and it could be 15-25 mins just to get my daughters 4 month check up. I had to leave and forced to reschedule. lasr time I was 5 minutes late and told to reschedule. This clinic is unorganized and wasted my time and money because I took time off work expecting to be in and out! I love dr Chang so I will go back for him, but nvr dr William again!
