NorthCountry Federal Credit Union

Nice looking place but in this day and age, it's over the top.I always was a happy customer with them, when my water pump broke on my car, I had to pay to fix my car like jiffy on the spot fast with my rusted brakes as well. These scumbags charged me $20 a day that I was over drafted and my relative sent me a check to pay them off, they didn't want to here any of it, not like I was paying for a spa, my Car broke down in the middle of winter and your water pump HAS to get repaired or U will crack your engine block for it having NO antifreeze in it, I had NO choice, if it was summer, I leave it in the garage until I can get the funds to repair it but NOOOOO these greedy basterds had to HAVE their money, I expect service like this in merchants bank or B.of A. not a credit union, pffttt I spit on U. Damn worthless man hating state!

So today I have spoke to Bob Cowey multiple times because I have been disrespected, discriminated against, and just right treated poorly. He then proceeded to tell me that I am not worth his time and hung up on me. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone before in my entire life. I joined NCFCU with the understanding they had great customer service but they by far don't. If you are not straight do not join this credit union you are not welcome. If you are not perfect do not join this credit union. If you have had financial issues in the past do not join this credit union. If you are a male try not to join the credit union. I am so sad that an institution in a small town of Vermont could treat someone so poorly, and it greatly upsets me that this is happening but it's time for people to know what is happening in there offices.

I am not perfect but the Northcountry FCU is the perfect 'bank' for me. Excellent service and rates.

Been with them for years, I've had 5 car loans through them. My wife totaled her car. The insurance paid off the car. We had to rent a car so she could get back and forth to work. We found another car she wanted to buy, applied for a loan but she was turned down cause she was late on making a payment on her credit card cause she had to pay for the rental. Guess we going to be stuck with a rental car for a while paying over triple what the car payment would have been.

I am so glad that North Country is my credit union. Customer service should be in their name, they have an excellent call center staff. Whether I am on the phone or speaking to a representative via chat, all my questions are answered fast, positively and professionally. I have nothing but confidence when working with my member service representative. Kudos to you North Country!
