North Slope Coffee House

I used to love this place, and I'm sad to leave a somewhat critical review. The two stars are for convenient location and friendly staff. However, the coffee is not great anymore and they've raised their prices to the point that it's ridiculous compared to other places in tacoma. I paid almost $7 for a 12oz oat latte before tip. At a local roaster on 6th I won't name names... I pay $6 for a 16 oz, and it's much better coffee.

There are wayyy better places to get coffee in Tacoma. There’s no consistency and now that there are so many new people who haven’t been properly trained it seems, the chances of you getting a bad cup of coffee are high. It was a little better when the prices were lower but the owner jacked up the price and they haven’t even had the drip coffee fixed for almost a month. I think the owner cares more about padding her pockets than actually having a great coffee shop. Do yourself a favor and support one of the many better coffee shops in the neighborhood. Cosmonaut, Manifesto, Valhalla- just to name a few.

Cheryl is the absolute best. Stopped by for a redbull on a first date, and we had the greatest experience. That fresh lemonade is no joke either!!! Hopefully we can come back in 6 months and give you an update!

I had an exceptional latte with oat milk. The barista drew cute flowers on the lid of my cup, which I appreciated. My drink went well with a dark chocolate coated biscotti.

Finally found a great coffee place i can walk to at my lunch break!! Alicia did an amazing job on my drink and i will for sure be back a lot now that i found somewhere my coffee was made to perfection!!

Alicia hopefully that's spelled correctly is the best barista, her drinks are so good and she is so sweet and friendly. She is the reason I love north slope coffee!

Such a cute little coffee stand with a convenient location! The service was exceptionally fast and the barista was so sweet! The coffee was delicious with so many flavor options! I look forward to getting my next caffeine fix here!

Very courteous and very quick. Great coffee. I always get the largest size Mocha and never have any complaint and I don't even need to ask for more espresso or chocolate. Prices are also very reasonable. The only downside is the largest size the have for hot drinks are 20oz

the first time i went here in april 2022 i had the best london fog with english breakfast that i have ever had, made by a guy whose name i didn't get. i came again today and had a miscommunication with the barista but after i pointed it out they very kindly remade my drink, no questions asked, and once again, it was so good. thank you!

If you're looking for that small town feeling then you come to the right place but not only that if you're looking for excellent coffee you've also come to the right place. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it
