Story

North Rockland Animal Hospital is one of three facilities that comprise the Rockland Veterinary Group, dedicated to providing quality medical care for pets and their families. The 2007 merger of three separate clinics into one consolidated practice served to strengthen each one, and today they provide the highest standard of comprehensive care in the Hudson Valley.

Most of our services are offered at all three clinics. However, for some specialized care, you may be directed to a single location. For example, our microchipping center is located in Stony Point and our Pomona location will take care of your exotic animals. Our triple-pronged approach to complete care and wellness services means that we offer greater convenience as well as the highest-quality service, based on sharing of expertise and resources. In addition to the diagnostic and treatment tools at each location, we regularly call upon the experience and training of our associates.

Our Stony Point vet, Dr. Kenneth Byman, received his degree from Cornell in 1989, and has been affiliated with North Rockland since 1994. He is assisted by North Rockland native Dr. Renee Bosma, who "came home" following her graduation from Cornell in 2006. She specializes in behavioral medicine.
