Service at NDEC is exemplary. The staff is warm,friendly and helpful in particular, Teresa. She has a very busy role in the office but always makes time for you with an unrushed, professional, friendly manner. I dropped in to have my glasses adjusted. Teresa noticed scratches on my lens. Unknown to me my lens are still under warranty. Teresa has a new lens on order and will install it before I leave for holidays. She always makes sure I have travel spray and proper cleaning cloths. Now that is great customer service...thanks Teresa!!

From the warm welcome as you enter the clinic, to the service provided during and after your visit, North Durham Eye Clinic led by Dr. Workman is a great place to have your eye check up done! The testing done is thorough and Dr. Workman takes the time to explain as well as answer any questions you may have. The staff are friendly and available if you'd prefer to select your frames and lenses from them. I do recommend that you get the lenses from them as having been to more bargain frame/lenses shops, the quality of the workmanship has much to be desired. These ARE your eyes after all. Located in the quaint town of Port Perry, there is available parking in the back of the building. The Clinic is clean and accessible from both the street front and back lot. Hours vary during the summer months, so check before you go. Also, check your OHIP as you may be covered for yearly check-ups, specially for the kids!

Before moving to Port Perry from Ottawa, I always thought an eye exam was only for testing vision - I had not really heard of assessing eye health which is essential. I never had such thorough eye examinations before seeing Dr. Workman and I am completely satisfied and confident that i have the best care available.

I was very satisfied with my recent appointment at the North Durham Eye Clinic. I find Dr. Workman to be a competent professional who obviously cares for his parients and is prepared to take the time needed to make sure they understand their particular situation. When required, he does not hesitate to refer to other professionals to obtain the service required for the individually. Additionally, I find all of the Clinic staff do not hesitate to make the patients comfortable and are very helpful with explaining and providing ancillary services such as selection of frames, etc.

Dr. Workman is extremely thorough and provides excellent care. He takes the time to explain the various tests and any changes in your vision. The staff are wonderful, always friendly and are expert in conducting the preliminary tests and at helping their clients in selecting great eyewear. I highly recommend NDEC and will continue to refer friends and colleagues to Dr. Workman.
