North Bay Dental: David Reesman, DDS

When our dentist, Dr. Anderson retired, our family began seeing the dentist Dr. Anderson had transferred his patients to, Dr. Reesman at North Bay Dental. Dr. Anderson's assistant had spoken highly of the dentist and staff, so we went forward anticipating the same quality of service we had received previously. Suffice to say, our experience with Dr. Reesman and his staff was anything but positive. The office, which was under construction at the time, was noisy and dusty. The reception staff lacked basic common courtesy skills when dealing with patients in person and via the telephone. Dr. Reesman's demeanor was one of indifference, while giving the impression of an assembly line worker, he rushed from one patient to the next. Dr. Reesman didn't bother to make an effort to establish a rapport with our child or to ease their fear of the dental examination and procedure. Upon examining our child's mouth after their tooth was filled, I was dismayed to see that Dr. Reesman's work was not of the same caliber as Dr. Anderson's. Six months later, the same tooth had to be refilled because the initial work was not done properly according to our current dentist. The dental hygiene staff was of the same caliber as the reception staff and Dr. Reesman. They appeared to be assembly line workers attempting to make their quota of the day. Patients are a number, not a name at North Bay Dental. The charges for dental services are exorbitant. What it cost for our entire family to be seen by Dr. Anderson twice a year for a dental examination, and cleaning is what North Bay Dental charged one patient for their initial visit. When all is said and done, our family decided say farewell to the North Bay Dental Clinic in exchange for a family dentist within our local area.

If heaven had a dental office this would be it. Best experience ever. Dr. Kemper did an amazing job. My teeth look great. And everyone there went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I will never go anywhere else and I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a dental office. 5 out of 5 stars.

Amazing place! I had a horrible several months long experience with a "chain dental" group and was still having troubles. I called Dr. Reesman and was offered the same day for an appointment! Was greeted with my name in lights welcoming me as a new patient, one smiling face after another, a beautiful gift bag, a clean wonderful waiting room...yet only waited about 5 minutes! Then a very humble gentle Dr. Reesman! This man truly cares about us, his patients! How refreshing! As does his entire Crew! I no longer fear the dentist or my appointments. Thank you Dr. R and thank you to your entire Crew! I look forward to seeing you all again!

Very deceptive practices. Money is more important than patients and they ask you to pay before sending claims to insurance even if procedures are covered by insurance. Front end ladies seem clueless and are non apologetic. Do not recommend.
