North Adventure Inn

This Adventure Inn has a grande and adventurous history! It appears as though the original owners, who sold the Inn (we were told in town) because it was so busy summer and winter with tours, snowmobile groups, guiding groups and just everyday tourists. When they sold, it appears as though the magic trailed after them. The North Adventure in still is a busy place - with 4 igloos to rent as well! - but it is slowing down and coming apart a little. The new owners are from away and don't have the spirit to push forward with the adventurous side. HOWEVER! This place has amazing history, enthusiastic (all 2 of them) staff and is just lying in wait for a healing breath of air - anyone interested in starting a new life in the adventures of the North might want to look into this as an investment. P.S. Very comfy beds and quaint rooms & building!

What I needed: a no-frills pet-friendly place I could catch some sleep on a two-day road trip What I got: a pet-friendly igloo to catch some sleep The "igloo" is pretty neat IMO. It was incredibly warm. I slept like a rock in the bed which may be a bit hard for some but was fine for me. Came with a pull-out couch which my friend said was not as comfy (but what pull-out couch is). Water was warm for showering. "Igloo" came with a tv, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen sink and a stove (which we didn't use any of so I can't comment on if they work). Driveway is snow covered which was concerning but my FWD hatchback made it up and down no problem. I imagine this is to accommodate the snowmobile population so I was okay with that and happy I had on my winter boots. Besides some of the towels having some stains and an old sheet on the couch when pulled out, the room was clean. I would stay here again. The gentleman was very pleasant when taking my reservation, when checking in, and when checking out early in the morning.

Had an amazing vacation! Derick and Julie make you feel welcome and provided a service well above what we expected entire family enjoyed the stay(kids and the puppy too).If you're looking for a home away from home experience I'd definitely recommend the North Adventure Inn. Can't wait to come back next year! Topping family Redbridge, Ontario

Extremely rude over the phone!! I called to enquire about amenities and a weekend to book. The man who answered, right away told me he was too busy and hung up on me without even getting a name, number and before I could say another word. What the heck? Nice customer service. Will not be getting any $$ or fun from my family. Good luck with your business bud. :/
