Lots of hiking places, beautiful and outdoorsy. Backwoods camping. Public washrooms and showers for campers. Friendly Park Services. Beaches are not of the highest quality but are for the most part natural. Trails are well kept, directional trail signs could be slightly better but due to the large amounts of rock it's about as good as it is going to get. And yeah you can get cell service here, I had 4 bars

The best place on earth to go camping, confined campsites and other great beautiful outdoor activities to explore. It just needs better bathrooms and showers and a little more beach space

Ive been on cabin vacations to Nopiming Park since I was 11. Tulabi Falls; pickerel fishing at Shoe Lake n Bird River; blueberry pickin EVRYWHERE; morel pickin... my dad will not divulge his secret pickin spots. This is the Whiteshells cooler, quieter little sister of a provincial park. Check it out, or better yet, stay away- I prefer the serenity...

This is my new favourite park/outdoor space. The forest is incredible and the lakes are beautiful. I stayed at the Black Lake Campground which was also great. Firewood is provided and there are clean washrooms. 315 becomes gravel but is wide and smooth, 314 (40km to Black Lake) is also gravel but more narrow and rough, though not too bad, and stays gravel and rough up to Beresford Lake. Campground office is open from 3-5pm, and there is a greeter at each major campground to help you out if needed. Definitely hike the Black Lake Trail, it is incredible.
