Holy moly, I love super spicy food so this joint is dope! A great consistency in every box when I dine at the Noodle Box and therefore a solid go-to for me. I got the Pad Thai Box with Prawns with Scorching Hot heat level. I made my order with Tofu and paid as im a veggie, which then the staff realized they were sold out so I was pretty much forced to eat pesceterian. The Prawns were tiny and look straight from frozen, pretty pathetic protein option IMO. Albeit pretty tasty and thoroughly enjoyful flavor throughout with fresh wholesome ingredients. I also hauled a couple of coconut fried shrimp which were a perfect little starter compliment. Pretty cool laidback, non judgemental and comfortable vibe eating joint with a come as you go approach. I do like how the menu is extremely customizable and features loads of different types of delicious noodles! Fast and efficient service for wholesome, non-GMO and no-nonsense pan Asian fusion grub. A great solid joint to grab a quick lunch always.
Tried the pad Thai, it wasn’t bad but I would prefer food court Thai Express. They add coconut milk so there is a different after taste flavour. I tried the hot spice level which was not even a bit spicy, so that was also a disappointment. The menu items look good but this was a disappointment.
$16 for a tasteless undercooked noodle box. Added chicken for protein and would not recommend it- super dry and bland. I ordered the spicy peanut noodle box and if it weren’t for the peanuts I would have never known it had a peanut sauce. Two thumbs down. Last time I will order take out from here.
Food wasn't that great. Prices weren't that great. The service wasn't that great. I ask for medium spice. I was afraid to go higher because it said it would be really spicy if you went above medium heat. I didn't taste any spice whatsoever. Medium heat means zero heat. My boyfriend ordered double chicken in his. He hardly got any. He said it tasted awful and threw it away. I found the mac and cheese edible but not that fantastic. The naan bread was cold and soggy. It tasted exactly like pancakes. Is naan bread supposed to taste like wet pancakes?
In my opinion, the Spicy Peanut Noodle is the spiciest food I have tried in Chilliwack. If you like spicy. I recommend you to try it.
Been here a couple times and it's been awesome! However tonight I ordered a pad thai box and when I got home, I noticed my box was labelled "SP". Thought nothing of it until I immediately tasted peanuts. Was given the spicy peanut box by accident. Normally I wouldn't care but I really don't like peanut based food items. Just glad it was me that was given this mistake and not someone who's allergic.. Will come back, the food is still delicious!
Service was quick and staff very polite. Ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai and the noodles were way under cooked. After a few bites I couldn't eat anymore as the sodium level was over the moon.
You can tell they make everything with good, fresh ingredients. You could actually taste all of the veg which was still perfectly crispy rather than being soggy and overpowered by sauce etc, like many takeouts. I loved my dish a staff recommendation after it turned out that my first choice would be too spicy. Portion sizes were bigger than anticipated. The rest of the family were not so enamored with their choices but they were experiencing new flavors so may prefer something different. Not so impressed with the website though - no pricing so our order was more expensive than anticipated... not a nice surprise... and no indication that certain dishes had minimum spice levels.
This place is really good! I expected this to be like another Wok Box... Ok, but not great. I was pleasantly surprised. They have a wide variety of Asian noodle dishes from several different cuisines. I should mention that these are definitely not authentic Asian dishes by any means, but are truly delicious takes on traditional dishes. My favourite part of Noodlebox is that they don't shy away from bringing the heat, like many restaurants do yes, I'm referring to you, Brown's Social House. I always order the Scorching Hot heat level, but I'd advise against this if you aren't a spicy food fan. If you haven't eaten ghost chilies before, tread lightly. Great job, guys! You have a regular customer in me.
Had the crispy chicken box with rice. First time at this business any location it was delicious I'll give them that but I don't think they gave me the crispy chicken box I ate in the parking lot so no time between picking it up and consuming.tasted more like the kung pao box. The sauce was good chicken was good just not crispy at all veggies were nice and crisp, overall a good experience despite not getting the dish as described on the site. I feel like most items would be very similar. Had a mall food vibe based on the look of the kitchen and way they were making the dishes. Very young cooks which I'm not a fan of, where was the adult supervision??
