Nonno Square Pies

Ordered a large double J Nonna’s thin crust, an order of hot wings and a baked rigatoni they were absolutely amazing! The pizza is amazing they have two different styles Nonna’s thin crust and Detroit Style Pizza thicker style both are really good! Great food, great service and great vibe love the fire pit outside very cozy! If you love pizza and pasta you have to try this spot out! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back! VERY DELICIOUS 10/10

Great pizza, lasagna and wings ! They do 2 offerings of Pizza, Detroit Style & a Nonna’s Thin Crust. Ordered a Double J Nonna’s Thin Crust and it was fantastic balanced perfectly with flavours and the sweetness of the honey was great. Also ordered a Small Detroit Style Pizza “Book Em Danno” and it was amazing, crust was perfectly cooked and ingredients were very flavourful and same with the sauce on top also decided on a order of Lasagna and an order of the honey garlic baked chicken wings and both were very good.

We just ordered pizza from this place for the first time, and wow what a treat. We ordered a thin crust pepperoni for the kids, and a small donair pizza for the grown ups. It was one of the best donair pizzas I've ever had - just the right amount of spicy from the Sriracha mayo, and the veggies were so fresh. The owner also gave us a lasagna and two little cakes free of charge, which was a lovely bonus. We will be back!

Awesome square cut Detroit style za. Opted for just a classic cheese. Came piping hot. Full of flavour, quality ingredients. The dough inside is cooked to perfection, fluffy inside but still a dense Detroit style. Highly recommend.

You gotta eat here, seriously. We ordered the pepperoni deep dish and the double j thin crust and both were stellar. Perfect crust, fabulous flavour. My boyfriends review “you know it’s good pizza when you should have stopped two slices ago.” The service and tiramisu was also stellar. Get in and support this place and get your slice of pie.

A HIDDEN GEM in Calgary!!! Nonno Square Pies is the first place I've tried a Detroit-style pizza and it is delicious with more flavours then you get from a traditional pizza. If you love cheese you've found the right place! Parking: Lots of parking

Terrible, terrible, terrible service. We ordered a thin crust pizza just as one person was picking up their order and was leaving. Nobody else was in line or around the place. We were informed it would take 20-25 minutes. We paid and went for a short walk and came back in 25 minutes. Upon enquiry was informed it would be ready in a few minutes. There were a whole bunch of people waiting by then. We waited another 20 minutes and there was no intimation on the progress. We had asked again in between and the woman at the counter said just a few more minutes. She made no attempt to even ask the kitchen staff the counter where you place the order and the kitchen are in the same room whether the order is in the process. A staff in the kitchen heard us asking what we ordered and apparently our order was just sitting there and they hadn't even started making it! The minimum courtesy would've been to check with the staff who are in the same freaking room whether the order was being prepared. Wasted so much time there, had them just refund the money we already paid and left hungry without saying anything more. Just a super bad way to treat customers.

Awesome Detroit-style pizza! I ordered the Spicy Italian on the thin crust, and it's perfectly crunchy on the outside and meaty on the inside. I would definitely come back again 10/10!
