Story

Nonna's Cucina is a family run business honouring our "Nonna" (Italian for grandmother). Nonna's features housemade tomato sauce, pasta and Burlington's BEST thin crust pizza. We also have a great assortment of Appetizers, Salads, Pizzas, Pastas, Meat and Fish dishes, as well as a kids menu & panino lunch menu. Gluten free and vegetarian options available.

THURSDAY - Date Night 2oz Classic Martinis for $6

Private room available for corporate and private parties. (Room holds 40 people)

Started with draft beer. Wife and I split a Caesar salad. Croutons fresh/crispy, bacon thin and nice, dressing not overpowering. Romaine was fresh/crisp and green. Rolls served with garlic olive oil. Very tasty. Had spag n balls. 2 big tender balls. Spag perfect. Wife had lasagna. Very traditional and excellent. Tea and coffee. All for &lt;100 bucks.  Had videos playing on 2 large wall-mount TVs of Italian landmarks and scenery. Nice touch. Washrooms clean.  Reservations recommended.  I’ll be back!

I had a really great time at this Italian restaurant. A group of us went for a friend's birthday dinner on the patio. All of us enjoyed our meals. Food ranged from pizza, to gnocchi, to fried chicken, to garlic bread, fries, etc. They tasted great, were filling, and the presentation was nice. No one had anything negative to say about food or anything else for that matter. The restaurant itself is also nice, and has a great atmosphere. Washrooms were clean and nice. Service was always checking up on us. Prices were fair. When the waitress found out it was our friend's birthday, she brought her a slice of cheesecake with a birthday candle on the house. Would recommend and return for sure.

The atmosphere is inviting warm welcome on arrival. Style comes together with the meal order.  The manager has timings. Seating customers,orders, during meal updated to final bill payments.  My meal was very impressive. High end. I was there on the wrong day, so I enjoyed my party alone. I met the two other friends two days later.  I always was a Deli customer.  Christmas 2017.

We came here the other weekend for dinner, on a Saturday.  I don't know if they were too busy to put an effort into their food or what.  We ordered the linguine and clams and it was watery and very bland.  Portion was very small.  Price was $24.00.  I've been here before and the meals were awesome, used to be my favorite place.  Now I will have to look elsewhere.

This was my first time at Nonnas and I found that the portions were rather small and very pricey. Our waitress was attentive and very good. My wife's lasagna was the size of a deck of cards small but very delicious. I had the seafood pot it was very good except the calamari was tough I wish I had extra bread to dip in the sauce. Too bad everything is an extra and very expensive I won't be back any time soon.

Really nice place! The food is amazing! It’s a great selection and you can never go wrong with what you choose. The staff was so nice and friendly! We had a ton of questions and they weren’t annoyed at all! Overall, I really liked this place and would recommend it to anyone!

Service was top notch. Food was delicious. Only 'complaint' if you can call it that is that I think for the price the portions should be a little bigger. Very quaint inside. Nice lighting and music. Great for a date or special occasion.

The food was very good if a little pricey.  Nice family atmosphere.  But the waiter was a little condescending almost to the point of rudeness and my glass and cutlery were dirty.  Would try it again just to see if this was an anomaly

Didn't have dinner.  Just popped in for a drink.  Bartender was awesome.  Had a cosmopolitan and a pint of Peroni.  Great service, very knowledgeable staff.  The menu looked great. Will be coming back for sure.

Love the live music. I've tried the food a couple times and both times was great. I also like that they have an Instagram account. Relative to my other favourite Burlington restaurants, it gets four stars.
