The food has been excellent since day 1 and the staff are super sweet. Good vegan places are rare and we're lucky to have them in New Haven. Pro tip: during the Covid/takeout-only time, the dinner hour can get a little busy, so order online/by phone at least half an hour in advance.

Food is good, staff friendly. Get there early cause the mac n cheese vegan runs out quick and you have to wait for the next round. But not me! I order 2 plates baby hahaha. 1 to eat now and 1 to eat 10 minutes later. Oh hell yea. Eat eat eat! Black owned so SUPPORT SUPPORT SUPPORT

Love the food here, everything is super good. However, I wish they allowed people inside with masks so that you could at least look at the food before ordering.

Maybe I just love food, or they just know what they’re doing. I had the stew chunks, rice and peas, mixed vegetables, Mac and cheese and drumsticks. I was looking for black owned restaurants in New Haven and this was the second one I found. You won’t be disappointed.

Great place, chill and inviting vibe. Fresh and made daily ingredients. Vegan activist posters on doors . Very friendly people, food was out of the park. Would highly recommend!
