Nino D'Aversa Bakery

In my opinion, the owner and employees are so so cheap and unprofessional. I never ever walk in to this place again. Because I ordered 'to go' sweet and brought it to my table, they didn't give me a plate and knife saying the 'to go' price is different with 'for here' order. This is the first time I hear something like this BS here in Canada and there was no sign in the store saying so. I spent over 30 $ for dinner, coffee, etc and they were saying they can't give me a plate because I payed for 'to go'. There should be a sign to say this stupid policy at this store. So unpleasant and so rude these guys are.

I use to come here so often. Now, I am rarely there. Just found a photo of my past purchases. Definitely not a snug or quaint atmosphere. Gelato was good and some of the pastries.

They screwed this place up when it renovated a couple of years ago. Ambiance was lost. It no longer cozy & quaint. Tea served very hot & good selection of desserts, however, the set up of this store is unfunctional. There are a few desserts to chose from at coffee bar AND if you want a different dessert you have to cross the floor and go to a completely separate counter. It's too far & usually an attendant is not there and it's confusing to have to leave your beverages behind at the first counter you stopped at while hoping someone will come to assist you at its second dessert counter. Then there is another counter where you can order gelato. Then there is another counter separate and apart from all the other counters and it serves hot meals. Beside it is the pizza bar followed by breads and other bottled, canned & jarred items, refrigerated goods too. Two cashiers separate and apart from each other. The store configuration is completely wrong and useless and gives customers the advantage of not paying for their wares whatever they may be. Good suggestion is to close temporarily and re-design this place. Whoever designed it did it as an after thought. It needs to be said that this Nino D'Aversa is disappointing and customers motto is go somewhere else.

Great food, great coffee, great customer service. I work near by and I am a daily costumer, sometimes 2-3 times a day. The ladies working there are very polite and lovely. My usual brakefast and coffee are ready every morning as soon as they see me walk in. I dont even have to order. Thank you.

What a Bakery!!!!!!!!! This is a very outstanding, delicious and very respectful place that I and My friends will like to visit in a Daily base. I strongly recommend Nino D'Aversa Bakery, not only at this location, but everywhere where it's name mentioned. HD A long time Client, who knows better about this Bakery. (....the place to be).
