If you love the loud shot sound then must visit this place before 9pm. Fires loud cannon blast.
2100 everyday this will fire, it does have warning lights to announce that you should stand back. Have seen people that haven’t and seen them shook. You genuinely should have hearing protection if you’re going to stand close. Definitely something unique and cool, especially in a public park.
This was pretty cool! The gun goes off every night at nine o'clock. We were lucky enough to see this every night from our hotel room. And we rode bikes around the seawall to see it close up.
Sadly we came, we saw, we did not hear. Stood waiting from 840 to 920 for a cannon blast that was shot off at 7 in support of Covid workers
Cannon shots everyday at 9 PM but during covid-19 era it was at 7 PM. One of the best things in Stanley Park for me.
Very interesting to check out if you’re on the seawall
An explosive charge in the gun goes off at 9am and 9pm. It's a Vancouver landmark and has a great view. My friends and I watched the Canada Day fireworks from right behind it.
