We keep a huge selection in stock, and there are hundreds of options available by special order. We also sell clothing, hosiery, lingerie, petticoats, shoes & boots, bdsm gear, wigs, jewellery and feather headpieces. There is always more in store than on the website, so stop by for a visit. This store is one of the best in Edmonton, 20 years in business. The staff is amazing, helpful, supportive, and non-judgmental. The selection is amazing. They are also very size inclusive. My favorite part is the prices are very reasonable.
Blew my mind away some nice things to be had for reasonable price, but some higher end stuff that has a mild price tag shock, still very reasonable, and the staff over the top.. Way over
While the clothing may be nice the Manager Lindsey is condescending a rude. Even after trying to provide feedback on her comments and how they made her customers feel she showed a lack of empathy and tried justifying her response. If you are looking for a pleasant shopping experience DO NOT go here as she has better things to do then service you and make sure you understand you have a maximum number of items you are allowed to try on regardless of how much money you plan on spending. How does the owner not look at these reviews and see how many people complain about her staff!
What an amazing little gem in Edmonton! My wife & I stopped by after we had to travel there for medical related circumstances and the woman behind the counter was not only helpful and kind, but so, so very patient with us as we browsed. Our first time trying on properly boned corsets was a lovely experience: we were brought the right sizes immediately after we got measured they have some selection for plus sizes; from XS-XXL and up to size 50 for their corsets and helped to strap into them! I actually had no idea there was a limit of things we could try on until I saw the sign on the mirror it half-way through our visit; but after seeing how much work goes into the bells & whistles of a proper corset I think it makes perfect sense. The sales associate we dealt with was respectful of so many things and such a pleasure to speak with. We will definitely be making return visits!
Extremely disappointing and quite frankly a shockingly negative experience. I don’t even have the words to describe how appalled my partner and I were at the customer service. When we walked in there were 3 ladies at the checkout counter conversing with the cashier and paying for their items. Upon entry we were ignored whatever I thought, she’s busy no big deal but not once were we offered a hand in finding items or asked if we had any questions. I found what I was looking for after a solid 15 minutes of browsing, at this point the girls are still talking to the employee and paying. We waited another 5 minutes for them to finish their conversation before I started getting visibly annoyed. Upon noticing this the employee shot a dirty look my way and said very loudly “ANYWAYS....” then went back to her conversation. At this point I was getting upset. We were in a pinch and needed this article of clothing that night or else I would have walked out. And much to my utter shock and dismay the employee and customers started going on a tirade about how religion that my partner and I clearly identified as members of spewing hate and all of these disgusting words that I don’t have the dignity of repeating. When we finally got to our purchase the lady was BEYOND rude and so completely unprofessional. For a place that preaches Love and inclusivity of everybody I left almost in tears. I will be calling to speak with the owner personally because this was beyond unacceptable and I don’t think that anybody else should have to go through that in the future.
Took my wife here and yeah great selection of quality products and accessories the girl that help my wife was knowledgeable and you could tell she had a pretty good eye for matching up different outfits ,plus real easy to talk to,we agreed that it was the best lingerie and more store that we have seen or been in ,great store hats off to the persons that stocked it great stuff and not the adult video store junk AAA+
Omg.... this might be the coolest store I've ever been in. The blonde lady could stand to have a little more personality, she was a tad snarky which came off rude. However we had an absolute blast in this store. If you haven't gone. Gooooooo. Maybe the blonde lady was just having a bad day that day. We are going back next week for mooooooore!!!!!
We came in the on the 27th in the evening. They have cool stuff that you can’t really find anywhere else but the staff were overwhelmingly rude and incredibly awkward. It made us really uncomfortable to shop there so rather than browsing and picking out a few outfits like we intended, we went to the other location. Needless to say that wasn’t much better. It was slightly better at least she was somewhat helpful and not entirely dismissive. I can say with confidence I won’t go back.
The employee on staff was super friendly! I was quite a bit anxious about going in I'm trans + a lot of the clothes in there were pretty unfamiliar to me context-wise to begin with, but I felt super comfortable looking through the clothes as a result.
The staff at Nightshade are always helpful when you go looking for something but don't know what size, and they are knowledgeable about the products they sell, which makes shopping for sexy clothes so much easier! The store is so cool to look at visually, and you always find something new that you didn't notice before whenever you come in.
