Night Owl

Hands down my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. A lovely little family run business that is convenient to get to with accessible free parking. The owners are passionate about the quality food they serve and dining experience they provide. My water glass was never empty and I love their spring rolls, salad rolls and Night Owl Special Soup. I was amazed that the young man who helped serve me on my first visit last year remembered me 8 months later. Awesome place to eat out. I highly recommend trying it out. :

Like the vibe of this place. They serve Vietnamese food very late so this is adding to my list for late-night snacks. My group all ordered different items and they all look and smell very tasty! I ordered the Spicy Hue-Style Noodle Soup and it was fantastic. I really want to go back and try their classic beef noodle soup now..

I'm still eating here while I make this review. This place is amazing! They have cooking on the TV instead of sports and that's awesome! Ordered #2 and the sauce came heated. First time I've ever had shrimp rolls with warm sauce and it was phenomenal. I loved it. #21 is very tasty. The meat is lovely. I'll be back here again. The staff has been very accommodating and very friendly. Eat here and you'll enjoy it

Great spot for pho on the go. Open late this is my go to place when I'm not feeling well and don't want to cook it always pick me up and helps my healing process. They give good portions an excellent amount of food for the prices. It's excellent quality, the restaurant and kitchen is very clean. The staff are the best in the world super friendly even during rush, and always willing to help the customer with reasonable requests. This is one family business I cannot help but support. As soon as we walked in, the owners and folks working there were treating our huge group of 7 like friends. It was so effortless. Two of our friends needed rides last night and couldn’t get an Uber- one of the guys working there offered them a ride en route to a delivery. I’ve never experienced such kindness before from a restaurant so busy. And the food! The food was delicious. It smells real good in there. Super legit place, I’ll be returning as often as I can. Our favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Calgary! Their chicken sate vermicelli bowl is delicious with just the right amount of spice for me. Prices are great, quality is awesome and the staff is very kind & can really tell they're passionate about their food.

Checked out Night Owl for dinner. Really wanted to like this place based on other reviews but found it was mediocre overall. Service was sufficient. Atmosphere is alright, it's a small restaurant so not good for large groups or longer stays. Spring Rolls were overcooked and dry. $7.50 for 3 seemed pricy for what they were. Soup was flavourful, but wasn't a fan of the tomato slices being added. They also offer 1 size only, which is priced on the higher side.

Great place for a late night snack/food. Their vege rolls is really good with the hoisin-peanut sauce. Their pho is average, the grilled chicken needs more flavor.

Our fav spot in the city for some late night pho! Always fresh and great portions. It’s a family run place and everyone is super sweet! Definitely recommend! :
