Thi Thi Vietnamese Subs

I have come to Thi Thi from time to time over the years and their sandwiches are been tasty. The bread is soft & chewy on the inside while crunchy on the outside. On this occasion, we got the assorted cold cut, sate chicken, and super chicken & beef. The meats are marinated well and quite tender, especially the beef. The spreads including the pate have a nice flavor which compliments the sandwiches. The biggest complaint is that the amount of fillings in the sandwich are fairly scant. The layer of meat is as thin as can be and does not cover the entire bread surface on the inside. The assorted cold cut has maybe 2 kinds of cuts. This makes the bread to everything else ratio very high, especially compared to other places. Their sandwiches are also more expensive so overall, they do not feel as worth it. Not a bad place to get a quick bite if in the area but would not be making this a regular stop.

The very best yet affordable Vietnamese sub in Calgary. It’s a small place and a family business. Very nice owners. You won’t be disappointed. Prepare to be in the line for a while if you go during rush hour !

Hands down the best banh mi I’ve ever had. I wish they were in Toronto! I’d stop by at least once per week!

Wanted to try out this “high rated banh mi” place. There’s a long line, so was hoping for good results! Ordered 2 banh Mi’s for me and my boyfriend. One of them was 95% bread, 5% filling. The banh ni in overall tasted bland and not much flavour. Not sure what the hype is about. Check out Banh mi nhu y if you are in the 17th ave SE area, 100% so much better price wise and with flavour! The line and the food wasn’t worth it.

I've been going to this place since high school! I've moved away to US. Everytime my family or I visit Calgary, thi thi subs is our first stop! Their sate beef sub is like no other! Family owned, super friendly, fast service! Theres always a line out the door, out to the road, because IT'S JUST THAT DELICIOUS! love this place, and will be back next time!

Ok, I had to see what the hype was about! There is always lineups here because it only fits 2 people inside! I went after 1 pm on a Thursday and had to wait 10 minutes before ordering. I ordered the satay chicken $9, very well priced for downtown location. If you goto 17th ave, you are paying $12+ for a viet sub. Fresh and flavourful!

Wow I absolutely loved the super chicken & beef sub. Just an explotion of flavour!! So so good. The prices are so good the service is amazing, has a family vibe to it. 100% recommend.

Probably the best Banh mi in town. Apparently an institution in Calgary. Had the super chicken and beef and it didn’t disappoint! By far the best Vietnamese submarines I've had, nothing in this city comes any where near it. Not to mention how friendly the family that owns this shop is, they really care about the food they make and the people they serve it to. Today was my first time back in 4 years and they recognized my wife and I the second we walked in, even remembered our order. Definitely a great place to stop if you are in the downtown area and want THE BEST Vietnamese Subs.
