As always, my dining experience at Nico’s on Erie Street Via Italia last night was a real pleasure! This time I was with the Ontario Wine Society for a ‘sold out’ event. The delicious food prepared in Nico’s kitchen paired so well with the 7 wines we sampled. The portions were generous and left us all filled and completely satisfied. The servers at Nico’s were wonderful too, and they managed to keep the wine flowing and water glasses filled while they cleared plates to serve each successive course. The decor is high end stylish and the seats are so comfortable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
It was an amazing environment, all the staff was awesome, lots of smiles. The food was great. We tried different things from each menu option and enjoyed them all. Our favorite was the pasta dish and pistachio creme brulee. We will definitely go back again for another great evening. Lots of Gluten free options for those who have celiac disease as well. Even pasta and pizza.nnThe only thought I would add for myself is I really wanted the steak, but what stopped me from getting it is the potatoes. Personally I don't eat blood products like marrow, blood sausage ect and I know many other people as well who do not, so if there was a way we could change that to mash without the marrow that would be awesome or another side even. Aside from that, we loved the whole evening, the food and the staff were all super friendly.nnThanks for a nice evening
Came here 2 weeks ago with a colleague. Ordered the calamari for appetizers. Had the Papparadelle Al Ragu Bianco and the funghi pizza. Both were excellent. The service was great and Keanna was excellent. Highly recommend!! Don’t forget to follow me!!
The food and service were outstanding!! If you love seafood- they have an amazing grilled seafood appetizer that can be shared for 2. It was delicious. Staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back again when visiting Canada! It’s absolutely beautiful inside too! We had the honey pizza and OMG it was outstanding!
Had a late dinner here.nnThe food was delicious and the service was great. I didn’t like to have to “pay” for parking in their lot though. The food was not cheap so parking could have been included.
