I earned my Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Managementone year in 2023 from Niagara College Toronto, an experience marked by invaluable learning and dedicated professors who supported me through ups and downs. The college's respectful treatment of students, efficient management, and a responsive student services team made my journey commendable. Regrettably, I had to enroll in another college for Jan intake 2024 due to early closure at Niagara. I kindly request Niagara College management to enhance communication about upcoming intake admission deadlines, enabling a seamless transition for students into their second programs.
In 3rd semester, I was suffering from dental pain due to that I was unable to attend two or three classes of Managerial Accounting also did not gave the test in person. I did one test from home but the professor mark me absent and give me zero. Now I failed that course. I tried to contact the professor many a times but nothing happened. On the very last minute he said now nothing is in my hand i gave the grades to the college. As per required information I put appeal with my all Medical reports. Now they are not giving a response to me like what’s the decision. I’m now in great trouble and even in more stress. And I called in college about my decision, still they are saying, we cannot do anything just email to academic of college. This is totally unacceptable and biased. Worst college I have ever seen.
nnI can't say enough good things about Nicole Jana, the student advisor at Niagara College. From the moment I reached out with my queries, Nicole has been incredibly helpful and responsive. Nicole not only responds promptly but also takes the time to provide thorough and elaborate answers to all my questions. It's evident that she genuinely cares about the success and well-being of students.nnI appreciate the level of dedication and professionalism Nicole brings to her role. She goes above and beyond to ensure that students feel supported and informed. If you're a student at Niagara College, consider yourself lucky to have Nicole Jana as your advisor. She's a true asset to the college, and I'm grateful for the positive impact she has had on my academic journey. Thank you, Nicole!
Niagara College offers a diverse range of postgraduate diploma programs with hands-on learning experiences. It's a great choice to enhance your skills and pursue your career goals!
Hi, I have been a student at NCT for 2 years, this is my experience.nnSome teachers are understanding and helpful some aren't. In which case we can reach out to the academics. I promise you the academics team is NOT ON YOUR SIDE. If it's you vs the prof. They will either take the professors side or they will just not take any responsibility. The team is absolutely terrible. So if you have been wronged by your professor, pray to God cuz otherwise you're on your own.nnSome employees honestly don't know the most basic stuff. I was surprised to find that the payments department didn't know alternatives of how to make payments towards the college. Front desk have no clue of what's going on and are rude sometimes. Customer service isn't all bad but again, it's only takes one untrained employee to create a mess of a simple situation.nnBut there are some kind teachers that make life easy. And people are generally nice, but not too helpful, I believe this may be because of a completely broken or a flawed system where there is limited autonomy and poor work environment.nnThere are tons of programs that the college offers like sports and education. the college job fairs is probably the only useless thing they have in . However, there are regular eye checkups and dental cleaning and stuff which isn't too bad. Tbh. Regular events for fun. Good job Niagara. Not everything is bad about Niagara.nnHowever, Niagara fails at an important part. That's the most important part really. The education. It's definitely not quality education. There are better options for the same fees. My complaint is that, professors can't be stingy with grading, especially when they don't teach well.nnNiagara is a small college, it's pretty much just 2-3 floors, nothing to do on campus, cuz guess what? We don't have one. So personally a college like Niagara, really needs to even things out before making a student's life more difficult . If I could do things again, I would avoid Niagara college.nnAlso I want to thank some amazing people at Niagara who are definitely an asset to a dying college.. you know who you'll are. God bless you.
