Completed my 1 year Arts program at this college. Most professors were very helpful and supportive. The campus is pretty big and beautiful. There's good diversity. The canteen food menu is kinda limited and have room for improvement. Lots of sitting spaces outside of classrooms though which is good. Admin work is fast. Lots of amenities like test center for disability, good library selection. Overall I feel really liked this place.
Brought my friend for the College Orientation he's in culinary. I couldn't believe how hard staff worked to accommodate my buddy as he was having an issue with the grant/funding and we had travelled over 5hr to make sure he got there.nnNot only did staff reassure him, they went the extra mile to DOUBLE CHECK his paperwork and TODAY, everything was just magically FIXEDnnIt really shows a schools value when they stand behind what they say.
I have never been so harassed by anyone in my entire life like this college harassed me. I applied to a couple of post-graduate programs this year. It was bad enough that 1 was suddenly canceled with no explanation, but once acceptance letters were sent out, I was being bombarded with emails every other day, several times a day, since February, to join George Brown. I decided to accept one admission offer and the second I did, I requested to speak to the head of the program. They had harassed me frequently to speak to them. Suddenly, the head of the program ghosted me. I think I'm going to renege on the admission acceptance. Their approach has been obnoxious and money driven. I haven't been impressed at all with them.
One of the Best place to study in Toronto. They provide excellent infrastructure and so many things to do for students. They also help the students in different ways like free grovery etc.
Culinary school is fun and top notch. The experience is breath taking and the Chefs are very good at what they do.
