The best Chinese food in Naperville hands down! Everything is made fresh and the quality is great. A lot of places use low quality beef that is so tough, it’s like pork. They don’t use cheap filler vegetables in their dishes either. New Wok uses very good quality meat and quality vegetables. Support this fantastic local business.
Awesome food, staff, and service. Highly recommend. It's not a dine in restaurant. Order ahead.. some days it is 15-20 min, other days...sadly longer but worth the wait. Parking: The restaurant is in a strip mall, so there is plenty of parking.
Been here seven times since moving, always priced affordably - get a lot of food for cheap. Food quality is always amazing, never a bad experience. Better than any of the other places around. 11/10 will always be coming back
Good value, quick service, one sometimes 2 tables but it is really just a take-out place. Almost always the prep is fast and delivered hot. Some items are better than others but overall it fine Chinese with large portions at good prices. Friendly counter staff. I give it a 5 relative to other carryouts. Yes, there is better Chinese food at much higher prices, but for a neighborhood carryout, New Wok does not dissapoint.

We've lived in Naperville since 1981. We've seen plenty of oriental restaurants come and go during the years. Often a restaurant will start out very good, and once they build up a sizable clientele, they'll start cutting back on quality. Maybe some just got too big to handle the volume. Growing pains, so to speak. Naperville are people who expect quality,, and if an establishment needs to raise their prices a little bit to stay in business, we'll usually understand. But if a place cuts back on quality, to try to cut corners to stay afloat, the people in this town city will recognize this immediately, and thus sever doing business with them. And ultimately the places will end up closing their doors.. Over the years, our family has had to change 5 different oriental carry-out places, for this exact reason. Our most recent place that we've been going to for over 15 years, has changed management, and is substituting carrots, peas, green beans and corn, for the normal Asian vegetables like bok choy, water chestnuts, baby corn, daikon. So we've been searching for a new Chinese carry-out, with value and good quality. There are still a couple of excellent places that offer good quality, but are expensive. These are mostly dine-in establishments, so you'd expect to pay more since dine-in has a little more overhead involved. But for at-home dining using delivery or carry out, we'd expect a lesser pricing on the menu. This is our 3rd visit to New Wok, and so far we have not been disappointed at all. Each of the 3 visits, we have tried different items on their menu. As we enjoy a variety of different things. The food is very good quality, for a good value in price. The service is exceptional, they always have food ready for pick-up when promised. The food has always been hot temp not spicy, and well cooked vegetables are not mushy, but still have that perfect soft crispness. And the various meats were tender, without seeming over tenderized. Everything has always been very well packaged. Nothing worse than getting home to find food has leaked from containers. They take the extra time and effort to package things correctly. Like sweet and sour chicken, the lightly breaded chicken is put into a separate container from the pineapple sauce, so as not to make the breading soggy, but rather lightly crispy when at home. So many places just dump the sauce over the chicken in the same container, and by the time you get home, the breading is gooey and mushy. And also the amount of food has always been generoua too. Our family is very happy with our new found Chinese carry-out restaurant. We will continue to frequent this restaurant, unless they back pedal on their quality standards. We are very pleased with New Wok!!!
We ordered dinner for two and were told it was an hour wait. We waited an additional 20 minutes in the waiting area. The woman working the counter was frantic - they were overloaded with orders with seemingly not enough help. Besides the long wait- Veggie delight was made with brown sauce instead of white and my side of tofu was put inside so there were barely any vegetables. Even worse, they didn’t include the sauce with the sweet and sour chicken our bad for not double checking the bag and the chicken was undercooked so we could not eat it. Never going back.

So, they accidentally delivered my food to the wrong location but as soon as I called, she fixed me fresh food, had them deliver again and even gave some extras for the accident. The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I highly recommend them, not just for the food, but because of their excellent customer service!!! I can guarantee I will be eating from them in the future, as many times as I can, lol!!
