The food here was delicious! Everything came out the right time and hit and fresh! Restaurant was also really clean. The only thing I would say we weren’t really fond of was when we asked the server something it always seemed she would say yes and then come back 3-4 minutes after to handle it. Outside of this, she was really friendly and made sure our drinks were full.
Yummy, cozy, warm, and overall great restaurant to fill the Buddha bellies of little ones! Love Thai cuisine and this is one of the best Thai restaurants Ogden has to offer. Last visit I chose the Eggplant Basil Entree w/ Tofu and found it to be delicious see included photograph Also, most dishes can be prepared as ‘plant-based’. The food and service is excellent- servers are considerate, responsive, prompt and friendly. And the owner is usually on shift in the evenings and is out mingling with the customers. Located between movie theatre and Washington Boulevard in downtown Ogden
Came across this restaurant while trying to find a place to eat for dinner at the last minute.. decided to give it a try and glad we did it was delicious.. food was fresh and got exactly what we ordered.. we ordered the siracha rice which was good but a bit hot for us to be able to enjoy, also ordered the California deep fried sushi roll, think that’s what it was ha ha.. that was very good my favorite part was the batter that was used to deep fry.. restaurant was clean staff was friendly little but if a language barrier felt like I had to keep repeating my order over and over.. but overall dinner was good.. had plenty of left overs to take home ha ha
Such amazing food! I’m particular about my pho and it was perfect. Every dish we had did not disappoint. Very impressed by the change in ownership.
Friendly staff and comfortable environment. The yakisoba and yakitori was delicious. It took me right back to when we lived in Okinawa. We also had edamame, calamari and pot stickers they were great. The sushi was well made and beautiful. We got the Sandy Cheeks and the New Sun roll. They were good but I wouldn't order those roles again because I like a little crunch with my roll. There is many other flavours for us to try so we will be going again.
I love love love New Sun. They have great customer service, their food is delicious, and it seems like business is good for them?! I always see door dash orders getting picked up there. My husband and I go there every weekend and they're starting to recognize us and remember our order. We always get the spring rolls, laab, papaya salad, and if the husband wants a change he'll get pho.
I listened to the reviews before coming here during a big storm, but the reviews seem off. I ordered some orange chicken per the reviews, but I couldn't even enjoy that. The chicken was barely crisp and was matched oddly with some lettuce that didn't pair well. Furthermore, the rice was soaked to the point that it was no longer steamed rice but was almost porridge or mushy, soggy, flecks of something. Unfortunately there was no flavor in the rice, and I couldn't eat it with the chicken. The only nice part was that the food came with a soup or salad. Regarding the rest of the experience, the atmosphere wasn't so nice: the door was right next to the tables and brought in chilly breath with each entrance and exit of the children playing nearby. The family customers were quite loud and spilled their food all over the floor. Finally, the restroom required a key and was shared with the connected five guys. Inside the restroom, there was a dirty mop bucket with used standing water. The sheet vinyl is peeling off near the urinal, and the simple experience of requiring a key to enter the restroom reminds one of an experience in middle school and not that of a well reviewed restaurant. If you're eating alone maybe you can justify the trip here, but it wasn't suitable for a night out with a loved one. I don't even see it as a viable family trip with the prices or quality of the facilities.
Very good food and the price isn’t bad either! I had their Sushi and it was very pleasant! The staff here is what really makes it special they are very friendly and alert. 5/5 for speed, friendliness, and overall satifaction.
I love it here. I felt so calm and it was a great time to hangout with some friends and just have a conversation. I feel like this place would be great for friends or with a significant other. The food was delicious. I was able to try pho and spring rolls! It was very very tasty! My friend had spicy noodles and those were fantastic! Made my nose water. Haha. I was not thirsty either. I was continuously poured water when it was half way it was a magnificent experience. It was an honor to eat here. I would have loved to know the names of both people who ordered our food and the amazing lady who kept us hydrated. I don't know if I expressed it enough but it was immaculate Bless their amazing hearts for making this awesome!!!
A friend told me about this new Thai restaurant, so I had to try it. I called ahead and asked if the curry was vegan friendly. The person I spoke to said they could make the curry vegan and asked if I planned on dining in or ordering take out. I told her I'd be going in for dinner. I went in that evening, with my man friend, like I said I would. We ordered the panang curry, the massaman curry and vegetarian spring rolls. The curry was fairly priced at $8 each, the portions were big and they were both very yummy. We were surprised to learn the curry came with soup or salad. We got one of each. The miso soup had tofu and mushroom in it, best miso soup we've ever tasted. The salad and the dressing that was on it was so good. The springs rolls were plump and had tofu in them, they were tasty. The tables had condiment trays on them, that was fantastic. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, big portions, fair prices and they will accommodate vegan if you call ahead.
