New Queen Restaurant

We ordered a pickup order from New Queen Restaurant and the food was excellent. Egg rolls, fried rice, S&S chicken balls and beef with vegetables. The chicken balls were crispy with a good amount of chicken and the broccoli with beef was cooked just enough. Excellent egg rolls. We will order again.

Has the standards of good food gone down so much?…having no good Chinese cuisine in our town - we Google searched, read the reviews - spent $100 on our favourite dishes, got home and uggh. Having ordered 8 dishes, and having them all turn out bland or overly salty was not what we hoped for. The ribs were over cooked and dry despite being covered in honey garlic sauce. The beef and broccoli had two different shades of green broccoli- it looked like they took something cooked earlier today and threw in a few stalks of fresh broccoli when they packaged it up. The fried rice was just white rice soaked with soya sauce with a few green onions and the smallest amount of dried chicken added, it definitely hadn’t been fried. The chicken balls were more batter then chicken. Our lips burned from the amount of salt in the food. I would NOT recommend this place.

Considering the reviews I was more than pleasantly surprised. All the dishes were tasty and generous. My hiccup was in getting to it as the GPS was taking me on a tour...now that I found it I shall be a regular.

Decided to give New Queen a try over the weekend and it was horrible. Food was not very flavourful and the place itself looks run down. Definitely better Chinese food in Stittville than New Queen, even God can't save this Queen.

friendly staff but the food can be better. I enjoyed there egg rolls but not so much the combo and the fried rice. Tried again. It was okay.

Fantastic food for the area in my opinion. I haven't experienced the issues of others. My containers are always stuffed full. Someone posted pics of their food, yes chicken balls are a lot of batter as is most places. The other pictures they posted look nothing like what I have received. Allergies? No issues here as they tailor it to your needs. Not sure what another reviewer mentioned about allergies, definitely not my personal experience. Free egg rolls and fried rice which I think tastes fantastic. Prices are much better than Lucky Dragon and tastes better too.

What horrible sizes for the price they charge. This rice container is smaller than a sour cream. Way over priced for the smallest portions I’ve ever seen. Steer clear!!

First time at this take-away Asian food. Very surprised at how tasty it is, so much so it was difficult to pick a favourite dish. Portion sizes are good and even the free fried rice was excellent. Will definitely go back!

I have been eating here for over 20yrs. These last few years the service and food quality has definitely taken a turn for the worse. We ordered mostly our regular order last evening only to be informed that several menu items are no longer available as well we didnt receive portions of our order. Since we dont live in stittsville any more, and had it picked up by our son, its frustrating to find these things out when you get home.

We enjoy the food was fresh , best egg rolls we had in a very long time, my wife ALINA SUGGESTED for us to try , it was good will be going there again. From Arnprior was worth it.
