New City Kosher Deli & Restaurant

NY style Deli in Rockland. The food is excellent, love to stop by for a pastrami and a black cherry soda.

Wow! We went there tonight for dinner and while we were on our way back to the table that we were choosing, my dad somehow fell and was laying on the ground. The owner was there and didn't express ANY concern about his well being at all. When the he asked the cashier how it happened I overheard and said that he may have hooked his foot on the chair or table. He adamantly said NO he didn't. I saw him and that's not what happened! Well, if you saw him then why are you asking what happened?? I guess maybe he thought we were looking to sue or something. In any case, the police came and then the ambulance. All the while patrons and the cashier were coming to see if there was anything they could do for him while the 85 year old man lay on the ground of this jerks restaurant. All he did was provide him with a few towels to put under his head! Luckily he was checked out and all he suffered from was a large cut on his elbow and one on his knee. Again, not once did the owner come to check on him while we stayed at this jerks restaurant and ate our dinner. As patrons were leaving they stopped by and told my dad how they were happy that he was ok. The waiter was very nice and as I mentioned the cashier/hostess was concerned and helpful. Even when we walked out you would think the POS would have said something, nope. A big FU to the owner and we will never be eating at your place again. And PS if you want to see how my dad fell, then rewind your camera tapes!!
