New Bombay Grill

Likely Salmon Arm's best kept secret - restaurant wise!! Whenever I go, there is never anymore than one or two other tables and the food is comparable to and in most cases, far exceeds any Indian restaurant in Vancouver or Calgary. We regularly try a new dish or two every time we go and are always impressed. The service is always friendly and food arrives on time and hot. I regularly bring my 3 kids ages 1 - 5 yrs, and they are very understanding and accommodating to their child-like behaviour. My wife and I regularly comment on how unfortunate it is that chain restaurants (be it fast food or seated restaurants) are so busy with essentially pre-made food that is quickly heated and plated by a 16 year "chef". Whereas at New Bombay Grill, you are getting the best Indian food, made from scratch with fresh ingredients by owners who make your dinner from original recipes they grew up eating in the home country. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great tasting food and an authentic Indian experience.

I love this place. It is not new, it is not fast, but the people are beautiful and kind, you get lots of food, and personally - I love the dark quiet atmosphere here. Today is my birthday and there was no question where we would be going to celebrate, I am already excited!

The atmosphere here is very laid back and underrated. The food is amazing every time I come. The GF options are great and the family that owns it is very nice! Great people, great food.
