Have been a couple of times here for steamed momo. Small place but it serves fresh and yummy food. Tried mostly the veggie items and can say that it is true indian-nepali style- be it momo, manchurian etc. Keeping a star reserved cz chutney being the key thing for momo needs improvement.nOtherwise, great place to eat momos, chowmein and manchurian balls.nSmall place is not fit for large family. Takeout is a great option.
-Yummy food at nominal prices!!n-Dine in space is small with just 7 high chairs, this is mostly a takeout place.n-Ample parking spacen-Washroom was well maintained.nnWe tried the below 3 dishes which cost us $43,nnJhol Momo - 10 steamed momos soaked in yummy chutney/currynnKothey Momo - Same as pan fried steamed momos, yummy and juicy. Served with two sauces.nnNepali Chow Mein - The spicy version of normal Chow Mein. Wasn't too spicy for us so we asked for extra chilli sauce.
Authentic Nepali food, first time trying “momo”. It’s something similar to dumplings, it comes in fried, soup, etc. Both in vegetarian and chicken options. There are two stores, this is the one without tables, mainly serving take out customers, but there are 6-8 bar stool seats there for a few people if you want to eat it while it’s hot.
This place is popular for momos. Lived up to it momos were delicious.Gobi Manchurian was other dish which was good. Chicken Rice and Manchurian noodles were average tasting. Chicken was very dry looked old along with hard rice. Both rice and noodles had no distinct flavour. 3 start only for the momos. They should improve on other items.
Anyone who knows me personally can attest to the fact that I adore momos - they are my favourite food and I have been to countless momo restaurants. I was really excited to try Nepali Momo House and I am happy to report that it lived up to my expectations! We tried the steamed, chili, and jhol momos - each of them tasted fresh and homely, it’s a rare skill to bring forth the homeliness of momos but I think that this characteristic is why I love momos so much. Will definitely come back for more
