Nelson Flowers

Stopped by Nelson's on a whim on my way to Terra last week. I was looking for some potted Christmas greenery to put outside the front doors of our Milton business. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for on hand, but they were very accommodating and offered to make up a custom order for pickup the following day, asked what my budget was....and they made it work!! The following day when I arrived to pick them up they were absolutely beautiful, and the owner (I forget his name) even helped load them in my truck in such a manner that they wouldn't topple over. VERY VERY pleased with the service and value received for what I paid. Will definitely be back again before I even think about a trip to Terra :-)

I'm from Guelph and needed a florist to prepare an arrangement for a funeral in Burlington. By chance, I picked Nelson Flowers because it was fairly close geographically to the funeral home. I tried to describe what I wanted, which can be very difficult by phone and especially when the parties don't know each other. I asked for something very atypical of a funeral, a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers consisting of roses, lilies, and other flowers at the florist's discretion in earthtone (fall) colours. No funeral-type sprays with gladiolas and carnations for me! I did not know what to expect given I could only verbally describe my wishes (no photos or graphics used). When I arrived at the funeral home, I couldn't believe how beautiful the bouquet was! It was all I had hoped for. The arrangement was gorgeous and so elegantly assembled - beyond my expectations. Sunny (apologies if I have the spelling wrong) captured exactly what I wanted. I was so proud to have my family's name on the card (which read exactly as I had dictated to Sunny). Everything was in very capable hands with Nelson Flowers. I would highly recommend them for your floral needs.

Best flower shop around. Love that it's a mom-n-pop place as well! Parking could use some work, but that's only because they're usually so busy.
