My son went to Neil and graduated in 2023. I can’t say enough how good the teachers are at this school. They know how to teach boys. I would highly recommend this school.
horrible school where do i even start? first of all i was bullied for my height i had a horrible indian teacher that i could barely understand and on top of that i got robbed after school but thats not all one day i made my way to the washroom only to get cornered by one of the students and absolutely violated i left school traumatized that day and since then i havent attended since im transfering this summer!!!!!!!!
If I could rate it lower I would !nI had been trying to register both my boys to this school since June of 2023.The Main office staff and VP don’t seem to know what they are doing. Was told that I would have to come in at the beginning of new school year septto register them as a home school for an online school my boys wanted to go to but when approaching them they seem uninterested in wanting to help and gave several excuses like not knowing the protocol on how to do this. I had even given them all the information and had the school themselves explain what need to be done, yet more excuses. The worst part of it was I couldn’t even register them to another school because the other school needed confirmation as to why my children couldn’t attend the school closest to our home.nIt’s sad because this school used to be great! My children’s father always spoke very highly of this school and it’s sad to see that they can’t even seem to do simple tasks like registering.nnI ended up giving up…… since they haven’t been able to start when they should have I ended up starting my own home schooling program.
Neil McNeil was a great place to go to school. I spent five years attending from 1974-1979 and have many memories of many good times there. It provided me with a foundation that I have been thankful for my whole life. Thank you to all the staff and students who impacted my life.
Neil McNeil is an overall phenomenal high school. This school teaches great values that can be used for future phases of your life. The teachers are professional and very knowledgeable on the content they teach. This school has been an great foundation for learning that is comparable to many other high schools in Toronto. The way the school integrates learning not only in the classroom but in real-world experiences emphasizes the school's uniqueness. I am currently a Grade 10 student who is very satisfied with the direction the school is going with it's outstanding relationship the school has with it's students. It is without doubt a top-tier school with great potential ahead for future boys. The location itself is ideal and in the heart of the beautiful Beaches Area. I definitely would recommend this school for future men who are looking for an superb school with an strong reputation in academics, sports, volunteer and school life. While Neil might be a small school we consider each other brothers and a close-knit family.
