Excellent school, great teachers, amazing VPs, Mr Bratina was an amazing Principal. What I see now, there appear many issues with discrimination in school. Like, a victim of residential schools was invited, she was targeted, and hurt by a question during the Assembly’s communication. She almost cried while responding, our kids had a lot of empathy for her. Guess what, a new principal was present in the auditorium but did nothing, there was silent support for the horrible action against the victim. Was it worth apologizing, reassuring about the school respect on the spot? Later, the whole school, kids and teachers were talking about how there were no consequences.
I loved the classes by the windows, but the classrooms inside with no windows are depressing, math teachers weren't that good. They were only there for the paycheque. Counselors were terrible.nAmazing track and field.nPhys. Ed. English, Chemistry, physics, and music were great! Principal and vice were great guys. Be nice, and everyone will be nice, weirdos and rude people will be ignored or get in trouble. Don't pick up bad habits, keep your discipline, don't fall behind in homework, and you'll be fine.

This is my alma mater and we had a memorable high school experience! Lots of opportunities to get involved in student clubs and the community. The guidance team and teachers are super kind and helpful. Some still teach there, some have moved, and some, retired. The students are a pleasure to teach as well. Keep it up East York!
