The best pizza in Iowa even in the America! The taste is amazing to me, and beer is fantastic as well. All the crews are rather friendly to us especially the bartender. My friends and I come here every week, and we enjoy the food and atmospheres. I am going to back to China soon, and I may not come back again. However, this is a special place for me and I will miss here.
Went in on a Friday night, fairly early and were seated quickly. We had the Gianna's Italian Beef pizza and absolutely loved it! Great service. Our waitress was attentive but didn't hover. There was only one good up with a beer that I ordered but they were very quick to make it right. I will definitely return.Food: 5/5
Need Pizza has always been one of our favorite pizza places in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Great fresh ingredients and always a friendly staff. They also have a great craft beer selection from different Iowa breweries. You won't be disappointed.
I had staff check on me multiple times to make sure I had everything I needed. The build your own style pizzas makes sure you get exactly what you want. I had an individual pizza with a white base topped with chicken and mushrooms garnished with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Dietary restrictions: They do have Gluten free and cauliflower crust options.
Awesome place. We got take-out but I would love to dine in next time. It looks like they have a good selection of craft beer on tap. The pizza was good. The large is huge! Staff were very friendly. I highly recommend going there if you happen to be in Cedar Rapids!Food: 5/5
By far, the best pizza in the corridor; hands down. Lightening fast service. Great atmosphere. Awesome appetizers. Really great crew. Downtown parking can be an issue, but we'll worth the walk. I'm a regular now.Food: 5/5
Great pizza! Joe the bartender and Aaron the cook are rock stars. Also i lost my wallet there over night, the staff found it and returned it to me the next day with every penny intact! My Pie = Large White Sauce with Clam, Bacon, Mushroom, and Artichoke Heart. Red sauce classics, New Haven style, build your own. Love having to wait for my carry out so I can whack down a few of the choice craft and micros that they have on tap. One of the best Pizza's in the city
Ordered multiple pizzas all build-your-own and cheese bread... everything was cooked perfectly and ready for pick-up a few minutes earlier than scheduled. Staff was helpful and efficient. Definitely worth a repeat visit. Pizzas were all thin crust... some huge slices and some small slices bc the Pizzas are more square than circle... everyone enjoyed! Pizza 1: BBQ sauce, chicken, bacon, tomato Pizza 2: Red sauce, Canadian Bacon, Pineapple Pizza 3: Red sauce, meatballscrumbled, black olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, green peppers
Wonderful service! Very convenient off of the highway for a delicious dinner when traveling. Local beers and build your own pizza. Highly recommend you start with the Greek salad. We will stop here again!
I was passing through town with my son and we looked around downtown and thought "need pizza" sounded better than steak, wings, sushi, or pub food. I was expecting a heavy pizza but it's thin crust like a new york style, and it's great. Definitely recommend the garlic cheese bread, it's so thin it doesn't fill you up too bad but it's scrumptious. The atmosphere was wonderful too, there's a lot of space so it feels comfy at your table, my son didn't struggle at all with sensory overload, but the atmosphere was still engaging and pleasant. Our waiter was awesome, he didn't barge in a bit but he was always right there when we needed him. And I didn't have to spend a fortune! Ps. The beer selection is not great, but it's good. I really enjoyed the "upper Iowa common" from a can. Kid-friendliness: There are no games or kids areas, but the booths are spacious, and the sports on the TVs can attract kids' attention. My kids all loved the pizza, and two of them are picky.
