Our company recently had a great & entertaining team dinner event @ Quarter Barrel, and it was a blast. The food & beverage, staff and both video & pinball games made it a fantastic time for everyone. Can't wait to get back to Cedar Rapids again for a stop...always high on the list! Do it, you won't be disappointed. Dietary restrictions: They even had vegan options for one of our team members and went out of their way to make sure he was served great food.
The atmosphere is amazing. The pizza is very tasty. The in-house beers are also a must try. The arcade is extremely fun and nostalgic and the business is part of the local community. A total Cedar Rapids Experience
Food and service was great. The Buffalo chicken dip is amazing! It was cream cheese base instead of the mayo base that one would find at say, Applebee's. And loaded with chicken, Buffalo sauce and mozzarella.
The staff and food are amazing! Every time I come here, it feels like a home away from home, and I know that I can bring my kids and grandchild and know that we will be taken care!! The games are so much fun and takes me back to my childhood! Yeah, we had to wait a little while for a table, but that just shows that they’re an amazing place that everyone want to go to. It was well worth the 5 minute wait!! Kid-friendliness: Kids running around playing games, kid friendly food menu! This is definitely a place where kids and grown up kids too can be a kid! Parking: Never an issue with parking! Dietary restrictions: All you have to do is ask and they’ll accommodate! One of the owners is a vegetarian so there was no issue when my daughter wanted something off the menu!
We always have an amazing time at the Quarter Barrel! It’s one of the places I recommend for out-of-town visitors. Everything is well done. Casual, fun atmosphere and the food is excellent — some of the best in Cedar Rapids. They brew a variety of beer, from classic to very unique, so there is something for everyone. Kid-friendliness: First of all, arcade games. Second, if your kids don’t want pizza, they have a kids menu and the meals are served on lunch trays. Very fun. Parking: Street parking right out front and there is a large lot just across the street. Dietary restrictions: The Quarter Barrel offers vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
We preordered for our hockey team in from out of town. It was perfect! Food came out as planned and everyone parents and teen boys had so much fun playing games from the past!
We had a family gathering 20 people for our son’s birthday on a very busy Saturday evening. Our table was all ready when we got there and the service was wonderful throughout the evening! They did a great job with our large group and went above and beyond to be extremely friendly!
Quarter Barrel hosted our companies holiday party and it went great! They made it easy to order food for a large amount of people and we’re flexible with our numbers as our RSVPs slowly trickled in. They made sure the food stayed hot and were very tentative to our party. I would highly recommend dinner out or corporate events at their arcade!
My wife, my son, and I came in for a Sunday evening early dinner. This was our first visit here. We live in Tiffin, but wanted to make the drive to try it out.... we will definitely be back! The food was great, service was good, prices fair for the portions, and of course my son and I had a blast with the arcade games. : no complaints at all.
My husband and I have always loved QB, and when the opportunity came up for my best friend and I who are expecting 10 days apart, to throw a surprise “Pregger Kegger” party for our husbands, I remembered that they offer private event space! Lorelle was very professional and informative and made booking incredibly easy. We were able to come in ahead of time and set up some decor. Our party had excellent service and all of the guys had a great time! Variety of food, drinks, and arcade games? What else do you need to entertain a large group? Highly recommend stopping by and booking events through them! Thank you everyone!
