Need Computer Help?

Update: They took my laptop back and changed the battery again. That was very nice of them and it shows they care. I planned on giving a 5 star review after everything was taken care of. The only reason I gave 4 star was because the staff kept forcefully asking me to delete my previous review not only via the phone, but also when I drop off and pick up my laptop. He said "you must need to delete the review." I responded "If it is fixed properly and I do not need to bring back again then I will." But then he proceeded to ask me "Have you removed the review yet?" multiple times even before I received my laptop back. Definitely could use some work on communication skills with customers. But thumbs up to the person that is responding to google reviews. Finally some professional customer service there! ____________________________________ I went to replace my battery for my laptop a year ago. However, my laptop still shut off periodically after the replacement. At first, it shut off when the bar is almost empty very once in a while so I thought I would observe longer. And then it started to shut off all of a sudden even when the power bar is still at 80% more and more frequently after 1 year of the battery replacement. I phoned and asked. The staff started to blame me for not bringing it in earlier and insisted all electronics should have 1 year warranty only and I was 2 months late. Professional and good customer service normally would make sure their customers are aware of the warranty expiration date when they completed the service. And I am normally on top of these things if I was properly informed. It made me feel uncomfortable to get blamed for the action that resulted from their poor customer service. Not only that, I paid for a brand-new battery & labour that literally only lasted 1 year and they didn't think they were responsible for it. I wish I had chosen a different company to replace the battery... now I have to pay double the money to get it fixed :'

I had my Lab PC malfunctioned due to cheap international plugs I bought online. With no bios screen being an IT professional myself I knew it's PSU but I was out if spares so went to pros at Ducktoes. In first 15 mins they did proper assessment, gave me new PSU and advised to change it myself to save sometime as I was in a rush to get this fixed at the earliest Trust me when it's black screen with just fans spinning there are so many loopholes for repairing centres to exploit but I am so glad this entity believes in honesty and integrity Many thanks Guys, Best of Luck

Haven't even brought my device in yet, but I spoke to Steven? on the phone who was perfectly professional and offered to help me out. This kind of customer service is not often found. Will update after they've serviced my laptop.

We were expanding our organization into Alberta and in the process of building several commercial and residential complexes in the region. I was looking for a company to help setup a small office space for a couple new local sales staff. I sent in a request through their official contact form in early February. No response for several days. I sent an email request directly to their service department, still no response. It's over a month, and still nothing. Our needs were pretty basic, and based on their website claims, I had thought that they were qualified to install a 24-port network switch and a couple WiFi Access Points. More was planned after that, but they could have at least contacted me back to tell me that they couldn't do this work. The only reason I contacted this company in the first place was due to their extremely positive reviews on Reddit, and the Google reviews seemed legitimate too. Very disappointed. I contacted a different company, and they responded immediately.

Brought my laptop and my girlfriend's MacBook. Both didn't boot up anymore and the MacBook had some water damage. Asked for a quote for both and they are reasonable prices. Long story short! My laptop was repaired fast and was spot on on the quote. MacBook took way longer because of a part shipping and some troubleshooting because it's a apple product with certain protocols etc. Price was less than the quote! Overall a good experience! And will definitely go back in the future.

Integrity and Great Customer Service are 2 ways to describe Ducktoes. Its a Great place to get your computer fixed. I had a broken screen on my laptop. Even though the repair ended up being more than the quote, they still honoured the original price. I will be back.
