Once a week a group of native dancers and musicians meet outside the Native Canadian Centre and it is a wonder to see their beautiful dresses and dances. Highly recommended.
Great place for natives. Should experience the cultural get together as the big drum social here in Thursdays.
I love especially the Ceder Basket gift shop. You can always find something unique and special for yourself or someone else. It's important to support local, Indigenous Arts. Lots of activities and programs are offered here as well.
I really enjoyed the cultural dances and the costumes of the dancers.
The staff is very friendly. Also very supportive.
Great place for socials. First Nation drumming every Thursday nights. Great AA Meetings on Sundays called"Birds of a feather".
Beautiful historic location! Good access and parking too! Wish it had more educational details for people not of the community ! And it needs to be open on weekends for non natives like to learn more!!! Store aas closed but looks interesting... great rentable space too.
They have craft sales, food, classes and other events throughout the year. I highly recommend going there. Probably one of the coolest places in Toronto to visit.
Beautiful community centre offering many classes and services geared to first nations people but everyone is welcome of course!
