I had an excellent experience with National Car Rental at the Victoria airport.nnDuring my rental, the vehicle developed a small mechanical problem which was handled promptly and courteously.nnMatt from Douglas location, John and his supervisor name? were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. It’s team members like them who represent National well.nnPick up and drop off was efficient and easy!nnWould definitely recommend!nnDon K.

Great rental experience with National at the Victoria Airport and downtown location, as always! Staff was friendly and efficient. We didn't love the first vehicle we received personal preference and the downtown location were super helpful in assisting us to make a change. Highly recommend National.

Had a lovely experience picking up our rental car after midnight after missing our previous flight. The gentleman at the counter had everything organized and ready for me and was very kind and efficient at walking through the paperwork, never once made me feel rushed or bad about trying to juggle that task and my exhausted crying toddler. This location even allows a second driver for free which was an unexpected and nice perk. Would definitely rent from here again.

Wonderful experience from check in to the actual vehicle to returning it. Would highly recommend and my husband and I will be repeat customers. Ask for John or Johnny if I remembered the name directly - he was great!!

The battery in my rental vehicle died in the middle lane on a busy 6-lane road in Victoria, heading towards the airport. I sat waiting for a boost for 20 minutes, expecting to be hit from behind at any moment. National offered a measly $21 in compensation, equal to 1 days rent minus 8 litres of gas @ $3/L that I supposedly used up after travelling 56 km. I had been warned to NOT stop for gas after the battery was boosted. I was informed a day or 2 later that they found nothing wrong with the vehicle, implying that it was my fault somehow. I’d give 0 stars if that were possible. Needless to say National will never get my business again.
