We have loved Dr. Richardson for our son, he had a 180 degree tear in his labrum. The first dr in town we went to didn’t want to do anything with it, he just wanted to leave it be with a 10% chance of recovery. I left that appointment in tears. After 10 minutes of Dr. Richardson listening to our story and looking at my sons mri he said if you want him to be-able to do sports we need to get this thing fixed, I felt a sense of relief, I left Dr. Richardsons office feeling so much better and happy that he wanted to help us. He has been amazing, surgery went great and every following appointment and has been great. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and is pretty straight forward which is good so we don’t have false expectations. He is also great with the kids and jokes around with them a bit. I would highly recommend him to anybody.
He did a reverse shoulder on my husband, both shoulders, he is very nice. Skilled,and never in a rush he will take the time to answer and all questions and listen to you. Even the spouse of the patience. He was recommended by two of his patients that I work with, he does sugery an hour from my house. But so worth the drive I would recommend him to everyone
He was very knowledgeable about my situation... Very friendly and seemed to care what I was going through! I've had 14 knee surgeries and Dr. Richardson was and is by far the best orthopedic surgeon I've ever dealt with.. Plus, he has a great staff!
Dr. Richardson is great with kids. My daughter broke her leg and he was so kind and wonderful to work with. Made my young daughter feel comfortable. Ask her now what she wants to be when she grows up and she says a doctor just like Dr. Richardson.
My Mom has had hip pain for years but has never felt comfortable going to a doctor. Finally the pain was too much and she made an appointment with Dr. Richardson. She called me later to let me know that she has never had such a positive experience with a doctor. She raved about how professional, kind, and knowledgeable he was. He gave her all the time she needed to have her questions answered. And she is pain free thanks to his expertise. Thanks, Doc!
Excellent results with two total shoulder replacements. I have range of motion without pain that I haven't had in years. Dr. Richardson is a highly skilled surgeon and is personable and kind.
I've been working with dr. Richardson for months now due to a work-related injury that caused me to need surgery on my left shoulder he has been personable, courteous and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. Richardson is a great doctor but my expirience with his receptionist was the worst I've had she was very rude and persisted to argue with me and ultimatey I had to walk out of my appointment to avoid a further argument she was very unprofesional and I wouldn't return I don't care how good of doctor he is there's always another. In the end my care was terminated because his receptionist wanted to argue with me I traveled 30 miles for an argument and a termination of care I will never go back again.
Since day one, I was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism starting from the receptionist to nurse Sara to doctor Richardson. We're very lucky to have a physician like Dr. Richardson here in southeast Idaho.
Best orthopaedic surgeon on earth!
