Nate's Shawarma

Used to enjoy their fattoush salad, but lately every time I go the lettuce is brown and withered. I was going to try a different salad this time as the lettuce looked better at one end of the tray brown at the other end. When I asked if they could make me a salad from the fresh side of the tray, the server said that was not allowed. I left and will no longer support this business. On the upside, I ended up discovering an excellent salad bar in the market!!

I think the business has new owners. Used to be my very favourite spot at the market. Not so much any more. Food quality has declined. Servers don't seem to be familiar with what they are serving. I had the Greek salad. Used to be my favourite. Now dressing and cheese are skimpy and lettuce is chopped in such big pieces I needed a knife to eat my salad. So disappointed

I have been going there for approximately 3 years now it use to be so good everything tasted fresh and really good. Not sure if they changed ownership or not but the quality of the food has gone and tasted like old food not fresh food. The lettuce was brown and and looked old the chicken tasted bland and not fresh at all , the humaus looked like it had been. Sitting for awhile in the tray it was in there was a brown crusted ring around the top looked gross and not appealing at all over all. The whole meal tasted like old food and to be completely honest with you it gave me a stomach ach and I felt sick after i ate it. Needless to say i will be not be eating from there again sorry not looking for food poisoning SHAME because I use to look forward to going downtown once and awhile. And getting some lunch from there but not anymore I will be looking for a new place to eat. PLEASE Save your money and do not eat here it is not worth it at all there are many other options in the market as well as downtown...

Been going to this place for years. First as a child with my father, then in highschool when I worked in the market Nate's wife would give me discounts, and now as an adult student I usually have lunch here. Delicious, family owned and operated, fresh lebanese food. Haven't found better tasting shawarma yet!

I've only had the shawarma from Nate's but in the dozens of times I've had it the portions size is always hit or miss. Depending on who makes it, it can either be snack size or meal size. That's said it's always been good but sometimes it's definitely better than others.

Discovered this spot after going to farmers market on a Saturday morning. The staffs were so friendly, I wasn't quite sure what to order and the girl at the cashier recommended their chicken shawarma, it was very good, got a small salad which was very fresh. Will definetly come back soon

I've tried to like Nate's it just always falls short. They have a great a selection of food that all seem good. problem is they are not, it is all very bland and underwhelming. I've tried at least 5 different things from the menu and I'm always regretting what I end up with. my last 2 purchases where the kafta plate and the shawarma plate. The kafta was bland and full of spinach the salad was terrible, the rice and hummas saved my lunch. The shawarma was awful I mean truly terrible the chicken looked like shredded chicke out of a can, the rice on this meal was mushy luckily the salad was decent. If you are at the market there are so many places that are better do yourself a favor and dont stop here.

They should have had to change the name when the current owner took over. Absolutely disgusting the things I have seen and heard her do...I have food sensitivities and refuse to dine at this location now, due to the fact that I can no longer rely on the quality of food or service. FYI - Any location that accepts downtown dollars has to give you change, because Downtown London reimburses the business for the value of the Downtown Dollars. No matter what this owner tries to claim.

Ive been coming nere since i was 16, im 24 now and I must say the service has declined . Not a fan of watching the worker eat her food around the corner then walk up to the counter to make someone else's food. Yes she wore gloves but she still should have washed her hands . Also they have new employees I had to tell one to change her gloves after she cut tomatoes walked over to the register took some orders then made food then grabbed bacon and placed it on the grill before she went back to make another wrap I leaned in to tell her to always wash her hands after dealing with cash and change gloves every time she makes someone's food because of Algeries/ bacteria ect. She took note of that but her boss or trainers should be teaching her that not a customer. My food still tasted the same as it did years back so I'm happy about that. I wish they cleaned up where they make the wraps a little bit or covered it sometimes.

Never been so disgusted in my whole life!!!!!! I was charged 9 dollars too much on my delivery, the food was mediocre, they got my order wrong... and when I called to have it rectified... I was treated with the upmost disrespect from the woman who doesn't deserve to be called by a proper title as well as lied to and hung up on and ignored!!! I have now loge a complaint with the BBB and the food services industry. I hope no one ever has to experience the nonsense I had to deal with tonight... I will never order from there again and would suggest to anyone I know to not waste there money on such an awful establishment!!!!
