Best sushi in Winnipeg! I come here a few times a month. I always get an order of the spicy jumbo roll with salmonand the Naru roll because they’re easy 10/10s. If you’re vegetarian they also have a huge vegetarian menu! I’ve tried the October rain roll after seeing recommendations here and it wasn’t my favourite. Still good, but way too much crispy yams for my liking! Sashimi quality is great and melts in your mouth, but portions could be bigger. Overall a real hidden gem and a place you need to try!
My favorite sushi place! Always fresh and tasty, never a long wait. The sushi pizza is great, highly recommend if you never tried it. The only thing I'm missing is sushi with mango. I believe it used to be on the menu, but not anymore.
I love it!! Favorite sushi place!! A large variety of options for rolls, and a very nice outside eating area aswell as a very nice indoor area. Everything was clean and tidy.
Honestly nothing special. I’ve had a lot better sushi and I’ve had a lot worse. Sushi pizza lacked flavour. Fish wasn’t anything great and portions of it were either small or thin. Rice was decent and wasabi was spicy and really good. Two rolls fell apart. Can’t remember the name of roll, maybe October rain roll, but it had shoestring yam piled on, basically burying the roll in it. Looked nothing like on the menu. Best thing I had was some salmon Rose there was 2 which had great presentation and flavour. The spicy sauce tasted really good.
I am super picky about sushi as I truly love authentic sushi. But theirs are absolutely amazing! Sashimi and sushi are so fresh, and well done! + Friendly service! I will definitely go back to Naru sushi for special occasions!
10/10 stars!!! Having the best sushi in town! Reasonable price with great portion A loyal customer since 2019
Naru sushi had very fresh sashimi and great rolls that were big in size without too much rice in the rolls. We ordered the medium sushi boat which ended up being too much food for three people.Food: 5/5
It was OK. I don’t think we need to go back. The rice on sushi was not flavorful. Some fish pieces where chewy. The soup had no tofu and wasn’t warms. The salad was a Korean app. Korean sushi. The sushi with toppings is better. Without mayo and fried bites I can’t.
The special roll was pretty good we got dark horse but the other rolls were okay but not amazing. Plus points are the salmon and butterfish i think was really fresh and the ratio of rice to fish/stuffs was very reasonable as you can see in the photos. Minus point is none of them really stood out or flavorful. Tbh, it's more like a solid 3.5 stars but my boyfriend said he had better Naru rolls before so will try again and update if needed. For now, you still have my 4 starts, Naru. Price: 60$ish + tax and tip
We got a medium size sushi boat and omg it was amazing. Great quality more than enough for 2 people. Quick and friendly service. We'll worth the money. We will definitely go back
