Nando's White Rock

I used to love Nando's! Their chicken sandwich used to be amazing. I only go go here every couple years now and remember why I stopped going. They changed the recipe years ago, the chicken and the buns are different and it doesn't even compare to the old sandwich. This location was great though. The design is really nice, the staff were really friendly. The food took 20 mins and it wasn't really busy but I didn't mind. I will say the mashed potatoes are really, really good.

Love their environment friendly serving. They feature real plates, metal cutlery, reusable cups, paper to-go bags and containers. Thank-you for not using styrofoam like everyone else in Surrey. Good work!

I have to agree with a lot of the reviews here, this place just isn't what it used to be. I wasn't aware of the recipe change, but just that the quality just isn't what it used to be. Their peri sauce is still legendary, but as I'm writing this I'm making peace with the fact that I'll probably never eat here again on my own merit, something would have to bring me here.

I've been here more than a handful of times now, so I figured it was time for a review. I've only used their take-out menu (have not dined in), but the order has always been correct and delicious. The reason for the 3-star rating is that some (not all) of their staff could improve on their customer service presentation. Many times that I've been there, the front counter staff have visibly seemed disinterested or "grumpy" for the lack of a better word. My order is always completed correctly, so I'm just saying that it would be appreciated more if I felt like an appreciated customer.

Really good Peri-Peri sauce themed food that you can't get anywhere in the US Northwest. Costco Canada does carry the Peri-Peri sauce.
