Nagoya Sushi

Good spot for affordable and decent sushi. The service was great; felt like they genuinely wanted to help and make the experience better. I’d say it’s better as a to-go restaurant, as the space is small and feels somewhat cramped. The quality of food was as expected. Washroom was clean. Note that there is parking off to the side of the building. Spots directly in front are 5 min max and “strictly enforced.”

Wish I lived closer cause this would definitely be my go-to! The sushi here is delicious and very fresh. They have black rice available here. It has a chew to it with a hint of sweetness, which I absolutely love and recommend. Service was friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is a little small, but very clean and cozy.

Best sushi place ever!!!!!! Fresh sushi, good price and friendly staff. Highly recommend But the space inside is quite small. So if you go with a large group of people, it's better to make a reservation.

Very affordable little sushi place. Everything we ordered was delicious and super fresh, and the staff is all very nice and attentive. It is a little dark inside but not an issue at all when factoring in the freshness and deliciousness of the food! Would definitely recommend the sushi roll combos and chicken karaage!

They make great quality sushi! They specialize in black sushi rice! Since 2012 their sushi quality has remained high. They have good prices as well! The restaurant was very busy, many people coming in to eat and many people picking up food. Service is good for sit in dinning! Would definitely do take out when in the area next time! Definitely recommend the spicy chicken karrage and beef udon! Good portions for the price.

Sushi & sashimi taste are decent now compared the time before pandemic. But their foods still very fresh which is good thing. Price wise, okay and not too expensive. I still recommend this place for sushi & sashimi.

I have been going to Nagoya Sushi since the day they opened and I can truthfully say that Nagoya is one of the best sushi spots in Surrey. Their sushi is always so good and their prices are very reasonable. I appreciate that their rolls do not fall apart the moment you try to pick it up and that their sashimi is always fresh. The staff there are friendly and kind and the owner is also so sweet.

I used to live across the street from this sushi place, and would sometimes get sushi from here. It's very good, for how much they charge, and the guy that runs the place is a very nice person. Although that was a number of years ago, so I don't know in the last decade if it's still quality, but looking at the reviews, it seems like they're still the same good restaurant. When I was a kid, this was under a different owner, and called Futago. The guy who made the sushi was also friendly, but getting eel pieces from him, he would miss some of the eel bones. And unfortunately, twice, I swallowed bones in the sushi. Being little, I thought the eel bone was stuck and it was electrocuting my throat, when in reality, it's the irritated sensation from the bone scratching the lining of my throat. I didn't eat sushi for a year after. I'll always remember it as the neighborhood sushi restaurant next to the neighborhood laundromat and the neighborhood corner store the one that was down the street was better; I liked that clerk better.
