This used to be my go to location, however as of late it's gone down the crapper. EVERY time I go in or place an order, all of the sale items are conveniently out of stock until Just after the sale, especially with meats. I'm getting really tired of having to pay double the cost because you guys can't get your ordering right. I won't be ordering from this location anymore.
I had a disappointing experience at this No Frills. I politely asked the cashier if she was open, and instead of answering normally, she yelled at me in front of my 4-year-old daughter. I understand she may have been having a bad day, but there was no need to speak to me that way. I hope staff are reminded to treat customers with kindness and respect.nnOtherwise, this No Frills is my favorite store. I always enjoy shopping here, the staff are usually very friendly, and I can always find everything I need. That’s why this experience was so disappointing.
They seem to make it a point to hire the rudest employees and ignorant too! Never ask them a question and they will either bark at you or would give incorrect response. The produce is mostly almost rotted and dead or on their last legs. Most of the time flyer deals are all gone. These days I go the extra distance to the No Frills near Townline and King.
Repeated misleading pricing – customers bewarennI bought Ambrosia apples clearly labeled at $1.49 per lb. At checkout, the system showed $6.60 per kg, which is a completely different price. When I pointed this out, the cashier quietly corrected it without explanation and said nothing.nnThis is not the first time I’ve experienced this issue at this store. The problem is consistent:nproduce prices are displayed per pound on the shelf, but the receipt charges per kilogram, and unless customers are paying close attention or doing the math, they will be overcharged.nnMany shoppers assume the system price is correct and won’t notice the difference. This makes produce shopping here stressful and uncomfortable, as customers are forced to double-check every item.nnTo the store owner/management:nPlease maintain the ethics, honesty, and transparency that Canada is known for. Clear and consistent pricing is not optional—it’s a basic expectation. If shelf labels and system prices don’t match, that needs to be fixed immediately.nnCustomers should not have to act like auditors at checkout. If this continues, complaints to No Frills corporate and consumer protection authorities will be the only option.nnUntil this is corrected, check your receipts carefully—especially produce.
My mother asked a simple question about potatoes, and which ones where on sale, because there was one bag that was different. And he responded with all the ones that are the same are on sale, so she reiterated what about both this bag, how much is this one. He again, replies there all the same. She's like, no, this big is different. He's like it's russet, so it's the same as the others. The big does not say russet, potatoes on it . Was sooooo rude, and ignorant
