Great location! I had a full classic set… the lash technician did not seem very experienced. I had to guide her through my preferences multiple times which required multiple removal and reapplication + lash adjustments. Not very satisfied with the service - that said the technician was extremely friendly; I believe she lacked experience. Prices are slightly above average.
Melody was amazing! I came in disappointed by the set I got the day before. She was so lovely and efficient. She went as far as adjusted my set to compliment my eyes and skin tone! Now I’m obsessed. I will definitely be going back to her. Thank you!
I got the brow lamination as well as the eyelash lift + tint. The technicians were able to do both at the same time, for a total of about an hour an a half. My eyebrow lamination turned out perfectly, however, the eyelash lift didn't seem to work at all. Disappointing that it didn't work but they had a deal where first time eyelash lifts were at a discounted price.
First time I went there I was pleased and my eyebrows looked great. I even got the membership because I planned on going back... I made my second appointment in the morning, I had to take ttc which made my trip unexpectedly long like always even giving myself an great amount of extra time...they called me right at 10am I said I was on my way, they said no problem. Now the brow stylist calls me asking where I am 3 min later saying she is completely booked where am I, I told her I was less then 5 min away, the street car was not moving so I got off and quite literally ran to the store. I walked in at 10:07 for her to greet me seemingly very annoyed and telling me she can only pluck my brows and not wax them that there is not enough time and I was only 7 minutes late. I said it seems like waxing is a faster process then plucking every single hair i have thick full brows . She cut me off saying absolutely not waxing takes way longer... still didn't make sense to me so I told her I would not be able to sit there to get them plucked hair by hair for how ever long. I left and went to Yorkville location for same day appointment and no issue with timing, there i had a terrible experience as well and left in tears because my eyebrows were terrible. Seemed like I couldn't win that day with this salon and I will NEVER be going back. One did my brows great and had terrible customer service and then the other place was complete opposite.
Laura is second to none. She is my therapist. My lashes always look amazing…. Always.
I had my eyelashes done a little over a month again for a trip I was going on and personally, I did not have a good experience. Although the salon was clean and the staff were friendly, including the person that did my lashes, the result was not what I was looking for. I specifically chose to do a lash lift and tint for less damage to my lashes going forward into the summer, and still get the natural but more defined look I was hoping for for my trip. In the end, the lift was way too curly and I felt like I lost all of my natural length. The tint would have been fine but because of the extreme “C” curl, it made my lashes look very dark and not as separated. Without the length, I felt the lift and tint made my eyes look really small. Overall, it was not what I was looking for and I ended up putting mascara on on vacation, which defeated the purpose for the convenience I was hoping a lift and tint would give. It’s been over a month and I STILL can’t get rid of the curl. My lashes are going in all different directions and certain areas are sparse. I am really hoping they go back to normal soon. I wouldn’t go back to this salon again based on my experience and I’ll be hesitant to do anything to my lashes again in the future.
I had a wonderful experience with Laura from the get go! My Uber had dropped me off at your old location and when I called in a panic Laura told me exactly how to get to the new place and even moved my appointment time so I could still come and get the lash service. Laura made me feel very comfortable the whole time by consistently telling me what she was about to do and constantly checked on me while the lift was setting. The results she achieved are amazing and I’ll absolutely be back in 6 weeks for another! Thank you Laura!!
Doyin has magic hands. I fell asleep on the chair and woke up with a gorgeous set of lashes. She made me feel so incredibly comfortable. Doyin took her time with our initial consultation, putting me at ease, understanding my lifestyle so that she could curate a set perfect for me. I couldn't be happier, and I will be back!!
Discovered this location in 2022 and went to Laura… She does such an excellent job with my brows, even when I think there’s no hope… It took me a while to find someone good and now that I have I’m sharing so others can benefit :…
