Food - We ordered the lunch special pineapple and green curry which comes with rice, spring roll and mango salad/ soup. It was tasty and flavorful. It was definitely worth $10! I would recommend coming during lunch time : - The Thai Iced Tea was also so delicious and only $2.50 Service - The waitress was attentive and sweet! Overall, it was affordable with good food and service! Note: the restaurant is small so if you ever wanted to go with a big group I would recommend calling ahead of time :
My Thai kitchen and it does not disappoint. The calamari & mango salad were addictive. I had never tried Tamarind Beef before but talk about ! Super clean establishment and the people were so nice. If you love Thai food, try it!
Had the Green curry chicken lunch special with mango salad and spring roll. Mango salad was one of the best I’ve ever had rlly nice ground up peanuts. Green curry chicken had a nice assortment of vegetables as well could have been a bit spicier and tangy. Portion sizes were large and well worth the price.
This is the 1st time I tried at My Thai Kitchen and I definitely will order again. I love Thai food, especially Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. I have been trying so many Thai restaurants Thai express to Pai lol, and I will add My Thai kitchen to one of my fav Thai restaurants to go. Not only the food is so delicious but also the huge PORTIONS. Omg I am always never full when eating Pad Thai from other places but I had to split in half when I ordered it in here. Can’t wait to come to the restaurant and taste more delicious dishes. If you would like to try authentic Thai, come to My Thai kitchen and enjoy it :. Even my Thai friend she approved it. Please ignore my ugly picture since I ordered Uber Eats lol
I’ve been going here since it’s opened and it has never disappointed me once. From the Mango Salad to their signature Pad Thai each bite delivers a melody of taste. From trying almost all of the lunch specials as well as other menu items My Thai Kitchen has never disappointed me once. Thank you for the amazing food once again.Recommended dishesShrimp Rolls, Pad Thai, My Thai Hot & Sour Soup, Coconut Jasmine Rice, Pineapple Fried Rice, Red Curry Chicken
You have to try this restaurant ASAP!! : If I could give 10 stars, I would!! My husband and I ordered from this restaurant for the first time last week, and I am kicking myself for waiting so long to try it out. This is my new FAVOURITE Thai restaurant!!!!! Having lived downtown for over a decade, I've tried so many different Thai restaurants. My Thai Kitchen is honestly the best tasting Thai food all-around compared to all the downtown Thai restaurants that I've tried over the years and I'm not exaggerating! We ordered the calamari, spring rolls, ginger beef, golden chicken curry and garlic shrimp. I loved ALL dishes equally, and would order them again in a heartbeat. Next time, we will try other dishes just for variety, but I have full confidence that we will love them all the same. I was really impressed with the flavour of the curry - it's often tricky to find a restaurant that has just the right amount of spices in their curry... it's often too spicy!! The golden curry has the perfect amount and has an abundance of flavour and aroma. The calamari was some of the best we've ever had including from Italian restaurants! As a bonus, there was a bit of mango salad on the side - that was unexpected! A tip for future customers, if you're like me and love rice, just know that their portions are HUGE! I got 2 orders thinking that they might be like some restaurants that give you a tiny portion of rice per order, but it's not the case for My Thai Kitchen. One order of rice is more than enough for two people to eat a full dinner and full lunch the next day. The portions for each dish are good - you won't be disappointed with the value for your money! I also want to mention how I was already looking forward to eating leftovers after I ate to my hearts' content. I can't wait to order from here again and really look forward to actually being able to dine at the restaurant too so I can meet the owner. :
If you are looking for real Thai food, your search ends here. This small little restaurant is serving authentic Thai food full of flavours that reminded me of the food I had in Bangkok. Priced very reasonably, the portions are surprisingly big. We feel lucky to have found this gem and are going to be back soon. Just Amazing! Vegetarian options: Plenty Parking: Few few parking in the front of the restaurant
My Thai kitchen was an impulse choice when we were visiting Etobicoke. It’s a great little restaurant with fresh & flavourful dishes!
Just ordered their Lunch Special! So delicious and very good portions! Comes with Spring roll and choice of mango salad or soup. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!! So happy to have this place close to where I work.
This was the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Nothing about it was flavourful or fresh. I read a few reviews and decided to try it out. I got the Pineapple curry, pad Thai and “Oh my I can’t decide appetizer”. The pad Thai was old looking and smelt like old oil, it tasted like soya sauce and the shrimp was grey. I did not eat the shrimp out of fear of getting sick. The curry was coconut milk mixed with red curry paste and canned pineapple with rubbery chicken. The fresh rolls were falling apart and were just stuffed full of iceberg lettuce, by far the worst fresh rolls I have had. There are lots of great Thai restaurants in Etobicoke, look elsewhere.
